Excellent location. Within short walking distance from train station and bus lines, for those who want to explore Lake Annecy with public transportation. Equally close to Tourist Info Office, Historic Annecy area, and the north end of Lake Annecy, including most touristic sights, excellent restaurants, and boats to explore Lake. Breakfast buffet had go I d options, but the Hotel itself does not deserve 4 stars. Much more modest. We asked for the mini fridge in the room to be fixed 2x. We were told by two separate hotel staff members that muni fridges aren't supposed to get cold. Really? A minor inconvenience.

We stayed here for our honeymoon! Beautiful room!! Amazing rain shower, & the toilet was separate from the shower/sink. The bed was so comfortable!! It was super close to the train station and downtown Annecy. Seriously, such a perfect location! Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is small but serves a purpose. We paid for a balcony room which was small, so small that my partner couldn’t do the toilet without the bathroom door being opened. The balcony had a little chair (one) but it really wasn’t worth the extra money. It was quite noisy due to traffic volumes outside. Pillows aren’t the best either. Breakfast was charged at €20 per person per day which we didn’t use and thought was expensive. We ate elsewhere for less. Staff were nice and friendly and had really good English (we had no French which we know is very selfish on our part)

I loved everything about this hotel. The decor is beautiful, the staff was wonderful and friendly, the room was very nice, the shower was big, the location was great. Highly recommend!

Hotel was in a great location and staff was very friendly. The air conditioning in our room didn't work even though the staff tried to fix it. It stayed at 28C all night even though it was set at 22. It was cooler in the hallway than in the room.

When I checked in, I reported a very bad odor in my room and requested a room change. That was denied because I was told the hotel was fully booked. No remedy was offered and nobody from the hotel investigated. This made me assume they already knew there was a problem. I turned off the air conditioning since that seemed to be the source of the odor. Unfortunately, the temperature was in the 90's. The window couldn't be opened to allow fresh air. When I checked out, the person at the front desk said it was a known problem with the air conditioning and the technician they had brought in couldn't fix the problem. It is unacceptable to charge money to live in stink when you wouldn't live in it yourself. The hotel is well located near the train station and the old town with lots of restaurants and shopping as well as lake access. Bottom line though is they don't seem to care about the customers.

Expensive for what is it . The shower are like ice skating , no moisturizer provided , AC is right in your face when you sleep, very small windows that open to a little court yard with everyone else so can’t open window and have privacy !!! Will not return
