We had a lovely stay at the Campanile. Excellent location for the old town and the station. The staff were lovely, especially the breakfast lady who was so cheerful and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, the only downside was the shower head which was nothing more than a dribble. Get that fixed and it would be a 5 star review.

The room was furnished with 2 single beds and a queen size bed. Mattresses very comfortable, bedding clean. The bathroom was a little tight and outdated. I would definitely stay again. Very close to town center. Parking de Poste is very close underground parking and inexpensive for 24 hours.

The proximity to the train/bus station and the old town, as well as the lake was super helpful! Everything was within walking distance! We did have some issues with housekeeping the first week. If we didn’t ask for it, the housekeeper wouldn’t clean our room! The second week it was much better. The reception staff were very sweet and helpful and kept apologizing for the inconveniences we suffered. Also, be prepared to carry your suitcases from the 3rd to the 4th floor, the elevator only goes up to the third floor! Overall, we had a great time in Annecy!

The location was handy, for the station, the lake and many areas to walk, which was why I picked this, plus the Campanile hotels are reasonably priced. The WiFi was extremely slow, but the breakfast was okay. A good option for a mid-price stay and close to my favorite restaurant for the visit, Chez Ingalls, which is open all afternoon.
