I was allowed a free late checkout. It's walking distance from stores and restaurants and a short trike ride from museums, galleries and even more restaurants and things. Room was large and clean but the bathroom was actually next door. It was not a shared bathroom though, you are given a second key to unlock the bathroom/shower room. I also liked the fact that there was a bathtub because I only have shower stall in my condo and many hotels in the Philippines there are shower stalls but no tub. I saw complaints about the pool in some reviews. The pool wasn't always packed, but there was a lot of time that there were people in it. Some people played loud music and did karaoke by the pool as well, but it wasn't too loud and didn't bother me when I was in my room. Unlike what I had seen in some reviews, the water was clear and clean. I was a little worried after some of the reviews I had read online, but was very happy with the stay.
