"The chalet was lovely, very clean, comfortable with enclosed decking which was really nice to sit out on in the evening. The owners are dog friendly & they had left a small welcome bag for my staffie with a couple of treats & tennis ball in which i thought was fab. Will definitely be booking again for a longer stay as we only stopped one night. Would definitely recommend this chalet as it is in an ideal location not far from Mablethorpe seafront."

Frequently asked questions

How much does a beach hotel in Anderby Creek cost?
Prices for beach hotels in Anderby Creek vary, but you can find a great deal from £66 on Expedia. You're likely to find lower rates if you're travelling during the off-peak season or mid-week. Find the best deals by being flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for our cheapest rates.
Which area of Anderby Creek is best to stay in for beaches?
The best area to stay in Anderby Creek for beaches is directly along the coastline, particularly near the main car park and beach access point.

This small, tranquil village is essentially defined by its proximity to the North Sea. The main beach entrance is well-signposted from the village centre, which consists of a few local shops and eateries. The beach itself is a wide stretch of golden sand, known for its untouched natural beauty.

Couples looking for a peaceful getaway will find accommodation close to the beach ideal. You'll be able to enjoy long walks along the shore, perhaps visit the coastal observation tower for birdwatching, and simply relax by the sea. The pace of life here is slow, making it superb for unwinding.

Families also benefit greatly from staying right by the beach. With direct access to the sand, children have plenty of space to play, build sandcastles, and paddle in the sea. There are often ice cream vendors nearby, adding to the classic seaside experience.
What is the best time of year to stay in a beach hotel in Anderby Creek?
The most popular time to stay in a beach hotel in Anderby Creek is during the height of summer, particularly in July and August. The weather is at its warmest then, with average temperatures comfortably in the low to mid-20s, which is ideal for enjoying the sandy beaches, building sandcastles, and taking refreshing dips in the North Sea. This is when families often choose to visit, making the most of school holidays and the longer daylight hours for seaside activities and exploring the local area. Many of the beachside cafes and attractions are in full swing, offering a lively option superb for a traditional British seaside holiday.

For those seeking a slightly different pace with excellent conditions for coastal walks and a more tranquil experience, June presents a wonderful alternative. The weather is still very pleasant, often reaching the high teens to low 20s, making it superb for exploring the Anderby Creek Cloud Bar or enjoying extended strolls along the shoreline.

What beach activities should we do in Anderby Creek?
The best beach activities to do in Anderby Creek are enjoying the sand and sea, walking the coastal paths, and exploring the unique local art installations.

Anderby Creek's main draw is its expansive, sandy beach, which is great for traditional seaside fun. You can spend your days building sandcastles, paddling in the North Sea, or simply relaxing with a good book. It's a fantastic spot for families, as the beach is generally uncrowded, offering plenty of space for children to play freely. The gentle slope into the sea also makes it suitable for younger swimmers.

For those who enjoy a stroll, the beach connects to the Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park, offering miles of walking paths along the dunes and coastline. You can head north towards Chapel St Leonards or south towards Moggs Eye, taking in the sea air and the natural beauty of the area. These walks are particularly pleasant for couples looking for a quiet escape and a chance to reconnect with nature.

A unique feature of Anderby Creek is its collection of art installations, most notably the 'Cloud Bar'. This intriguing structure provides a place to sit and observe the sky, with reflective panels that enhance the cloud-watching experience.
Is it cheaper to book flights and a beach hotel in Anderby Creek as a package?

With access to over 300,000 hotels worldwide, Expedia makes it easy to build the perfect travel package.
Can I cancel my beach hotel reservation on Expedia?

Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. For maximum flexibility, use Expedia's "Fully refundable property" filter during your search to find the right beach hotel in Anderby Creek for you.
