The owner (Rachel) was very helpful and kind. She baked us a Walnut bread (i think) that was great with our coffee. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were VERY comfy. Across the street in an awsome restaurant (expensive but worthy).

We stayed one night in the main lodge/B&B and 2 nights in our own “cabin”. Both places were clean, comfortable and cozy, not to mention walkable to several restaurants and the town square. Rachel was warm and responsive. Highly recommend!!

Great place to access Girdwood

Just spent one night to celebrate our anniversary. Jake and Rachel were lovely, accommodating hosts. Continental breakfast included homemade muffins and granola which were delicious. There is a cat and a dog on premises but not allowed in the guest area.

First time staying at a B&B because we like our privacy. It just happened that we never did run into any other guests. It seemed that everything that you could need or want was supplied. From multiple breakfast options (with fresh baked goodies offered in the morning- nut allergy so I couldn’t partake but they looked delicious) to bug and bear spray. Very thoughtful hosts.

Very comfortable and clean lodging - Girdwood

We enjoyed our stay at the Tecumseh Stall for our final overnight in our 2 week vacation. The space was extremely clean. We had dinner across the street from the cabin. The hosts were very helpful and everything was great. The only thing we did not have was the hot tub as it was being renovated. But we were so tired we likely wouldn't have gotten to it anyway. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a place in the Girdwood/Anchorage area.

This is a bedroom in the lower level of a home. There are other bedrooms on the level and you share a kitchen/ breakfast table area. I don't normally book rooms like this, but it worked out OK, as the other guests were very nice and also quiet. The refrigerator was well stocked with breakfast options. We arrived late in the evening and I did not meet the host in person.

The staff was prompt and detailed with check-in process and rules for using the property. However, we never found anyone in the office during on two cosecutive days at around 10 am. The property was easy to find, located conveniently across from a terrific steak house. The hot tub located under a gazebo on the property is an asset.we used it and enjoyed it. However, there is nothing "Deluxe" about this "deluxe" accommodation. It is very basic and very run down. The furniture, bare minimum provided, the area rugs, throw pillow, etc., are so old and well worn that the place felt unclean even though it was apparent that the propery owners had been meticulous to provide clean accommodation.The window blind in the bedroom did not work. The shower handle was loose. The shower curtain rod fell down when we draped a wet towel on it. There was hardly any place to hang our wet jackets dry, and it rains a lot in Alaska in September. The living room/kitchen combo is more like a mudroom. There isnt even much room to shake the dirt off the boots when you walk in the front door! The radiant floor heating worked well. But the speed control of the ceiling fans were flaky. There is no stovetop in this "deluxe" room, but electric griddle and microwave oven are provided. The bed is verycomfortable. The property owners have taken a lot of liberty with their property description.

The setting was beautiful. The grounds were beautifully planted with flowers. There was evidence of construction activity and a blue tarp which is somewhat expected in summer Alaska, but still a bit of an eyesore when staying at a nice place. The interior is slightly dated and the common area is very small making it uncomfortable for more than one party to use the inside common area at one time. This is all in regarding the main house where there are three guest rooms in the downstairs of the hosts home. The host lives upstairs and is very friendly and stays on top of cleaning the kitchen in the morning and replenishing thing like coffee and fridge supplies. Footsteps can be heard above at times - it is what it is. Private bathrooms in each room is a very nice feature, but as stated before, a bit dated, but fully functional. Everything inside felt small and a bit cramped. Outside is very nice though and we enjoyed the hot tub very much, even though the chlorine was a bit strong. The gazebo that the hot tub is in is an incredible piece of wood working construction with massive 12x12 posts and curve-cut 12x12 beams creating a hexagonal timber-frame structure. It is impressive and very serene to sit in and enjoy the lush rainforest surroundings and tall trees. It is a very short walk to the Girdwood townsite by way of a foot bridge across the creek which adjacent to the property. The community bridge is just a short walk down the shoulder of Crow Creek road. Enjoy.
