We had a lot of luggage and needed a friend to come up to help us get it downstairs. He called me and said that they refused to let him up. This was the 4th time and all of a sudden he was forbidden. In the end he cam upstairs, it didn't even take 5 minutes. Such a crazy rule. Other than that the stay was fine. Breakfast is 17.50 Euro, but we found a great workaround. We walked 300m to Ikea and had a great breakfast 16 Euro for 2 people with salmon and omelet, all the coffee or cappuccino we wanted and extra water for the day. The walk to the Metro is also not bad at all.

The room is clean. Bathroom is excellent. Shower is hot and has very nice water pressure. The mattress is firm and made for a wonderful night's sleep.

Not what I expected.
My stay at Ozo was okay. Upon arrival I asked to check in early and was charged $20 euros extra. While I was checking out, a couple was checking in, they were charge only $10 euros extra, not sure why I was charged $20. It would have been nice to have a microwave in my room. I went downstairs to asked for some ice or where is location of the ice machine. I was told that they weren't allowed to give out ice. Somewhat disappointed. I will not be staying here again. I was booked for 4 nights but left a day earlier. Aside from that it is located closed to the metro and the arena but was great.

Good for a base to sleep whilst visiting Amsterdam
Hotel suited our needs of a room to sleep for a few nights whilst visiting Amsterdam, located close to the Metro which made transport to & from city & Airport easy. Was basic but clean, quiet & reasonably priced, restaurant / bar appeared to be closed for our entire trip, which meant travelling before breakfast was available & saw no sign (and given no info) of a fitness centre

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and the service was great. The only thing was our bathroom - the glass door let the water run through - it was quite annoying to mop the water after every shower with completely wet towels.

Hotel was nice, I didn't hear no sound between rooms. Hotel bathroom need to be better when it comes to the shower glasses, when at shower water goes out under the glass. Gym is small, some gym weights was kinda damaged, but still trainable. They should just invest on gym and shower glass to hold water better n the hotel would be amazing 💯

Mediocre but bathroom was filthy, wouldn’t stay
The hotel was mediocre. I would have rather stayed in central for the same price as the hotel was extremely hot in the communal areas. The room was not cleaned properly and the bathroom was filthy with hair everywhere from someone, unknown as to where from but this was disgusting. Not small amounts, large amounts on the floor. The bedroom was a good size but the room had this extremely loud water pressure pipe or water flow system in the wall that was very annoying when trying to sleep. I would stay again unless I had to. I wasn’t compensated at all at checkout but the receptionist took a picture of my photo. Disappointed with the customer service to not compensate for the filthy room.

Poor breakfast select, problems with air-con.
The hotel had building works going on outside the main entrance, putting in planters with small trees. The pedestrian entrance was closed with warning tape so I had to enter via car way. Air conditioning in the room needed to be adjusted by the reception team. The control pad in the room did not function to allow temperature to be reduced. Kept waking up middle of night in a warm room and had to open the window. Worrying presence of black fuzzy spots on the grouting in the shower (or just plain missing strips of grouting in some places). Nice lemongrass scented shower-gel in the shower. The bed is a divan base and then one of those thick unyeilding foam mattresses and a thin "topper". My back really didn't appreciate this, woke up every morning with a stiff back. Linen changed daily. Staff left the "bed drape" on the side which is good as I really have no idea why a 50cm wide bit of thick cotton needs to decorate the foot of the bed. Insufficient (1 only) power sockets at the desk. I tried the breakfast on my last day. At 07:15 (service starts at 07:00) the cheese was drying out on the edges, so unlikely to be fresh, and the fruit selection poor (only apples and oranges - but the staple of such bananas missing). Not worth the €17.50 cost. Staff did take note of my request for help with the aircon issue on the first approach but I really didn't have the time to mess around getting them to fix this every time. Staff were informed of my other issues at checkout.

The hotel is in a commercial / residential area. Very quiet and little activity. Its easy to access via metro, within a 5 min walking distance. The staff were a real disappointment with regards to a lost item at hotel. Not helpful, not cooperative and down right dismissive. No effort put into resolving the matter, in spite of my many efforts to connect with them on the matter If you are looking for a basic stay with no frills or a proper hotel experience … this is it.

Stayed here with a friend for a few days. The room was modern and clean and had everything we needed. Beds were remade daily and riom cleaned. Reception staff were really polite and helpful. We didn't use the bar etc. but everything we did use was great. Easy access to the metro and a short walk from Ziggo dome and Ajax.

Funny smell in hotel bathroom (mouldy), and the wet room style shower would leak outside of the glass partition and onto the main bathroom floor. No towel hooks in the bathroom. (As an aside, the toilet paper wasn't very nice). Very difficult to adjust the heating/fan. When you leave the room, it defaults back to cold settings so room isn't as warm as you have left it. No complimentary water in the rooms at all. Instead a 250ml bottle in the vending machine is available at 2.50 EUR. Bar and dining facilities shut very early and there was a scenario seen where at around 2am, my friend and I saw an UberEats delivery person arrive and go directly to the rooms to deliver a pizza. A guest should be asked to receive their delivery at reception since this could make the hotel unsafe. Staff are very friendly and courteous, however I was very surprised to be asked to pay for my room on check-in and not check out. Is this standard practice?

The area has non supermarket at all and the safe at room wasn’t work and the city tax at the counter was higher than the usual it was about 50$ for two days and the shower capinet leaking the water out so the floor gets so slippery.

I booked 5 rooms at this hotel 2 months in advance and on arrival they lied that Expedia had asked them to cancel my booking. On calling Expedia, they said they never asked them to do so. They were not bold enough to own up to their inability to fulfil the booking or even notify me of the cancellation before I arrived. My team arrived after midnight and were left without a place to stay. We eventually found a room in a nearby hotel around 3am. Ozo hotel has a lot of bad reviews which I regretfully ignored. Please do not go to this hotel so you don't end up being shafted. Very incompetent bunch. The place should be closed down.
