Great location (walk to the museums and city park). Close to bike rental (must do in Amsterdam). Safe, clean and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel for it's comfort and value.

I personally loved the location. It wasn’t too far away from the city center (25 min walk). The area was quiet and along the trolley line if needed. The room itself was clean and perfectly fine

Excellent location and excellent services very close to the heart of Amsterdam. They offer free coffee and water (unlike many other hotels in the area). They also have an underground parking structure (€40 per day) that requires access via a scanned QR code, so you need cell phone internet connection if you’re visiting from a non-European country. Rooms are super clean, staff are very friendly. Walkable area but watch for the bikes.

Amazing location and staff is super friendly and generous. Our main issue was the room itself. There was very little storage space (no shelves, no bedside tables, our clothes had to stay in our suitcases). The bathroom also lacked basic hooks or hangers (nowhere to hang a towel). In addition, the lighting was very dim and overly orange, which made the room feel dark and uncomfortable after sunset. In summary, great location and service, but uncomfortable room.

Front desk staff was universally good. Very helpful and personable. Cleaning however was not great - asked for extra towels and never got them, they did not leave us bath mat one night, room was ok but not particularly well cleaned. Faucet in bathroom was loose, design of shelf over bathroom sink was very awkward, there was no way to be in touch with front desk unless you went down. Chat function did not ever get message to staff, room was very crowded.

The receptionist, Aro, was amazing - friendly, cordial and helpful. Unfortunately the room didn’t live up to expectations especially the toilet. The shower was leaking, water was flowing everywhere and the room wasn’t up to mark from a hygiene perspective. I told the staff and sent my complaint to their WhatsApp number, but no response. I wanted to be moved to another room (despite it being inconvenient) or receive monetary compensation.

The Hotel Mosaic was a good location for our short stay in Amsterdam--walking distance from everywhere we wanted to visit. And the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. But I have to share that the bathroom in our room was absolutely disgusting. There was no ventilation (there seemed to be an exhaust fan on the wall but it wasn't working), so mold and mildew had formed on the ceiling and walls, and the hair dryer was rusted. So much moisture collected on surfaces that the toilet paper rolls were damp. The hotel's solution to this was to give the space a thorough scrubbing with strong chemicals, so it then smelled of mildew AND chlorine. So despite the location and the friendly staff, I would not stay here again.

The good first. The staff was lovely. The bad - for being the most expensive hotel of our trip around the Netherlands, it left the most to be desired. The hall and room were filled with small flying bugs. I had to try brushing them off the door before opening them to try to minimize the number getting in the room. The lighting was terrible in the room and in the breakfast area and there weren’t enough outlets. The beds were in poor condition and one was so bad that when my husband sat on it he almost fell on the floor because it folded in half. The room was tiny and we had almost no room for our bags for a triple room. The worst was the lack of soundproofing. It’s not the hotels fault that a family had their children running wild in the hallway but we could hear it all. It was a very unpleasant stay.
