A cracked table and the drain was a bit smelly when you turned on the hand held shower. Big comfortable bed, new and nice artistic decoration. The only issue as mentioned in another review is the communication. Make sure you have a phone that works in Amsterdam because that the only way to communicate with them. The check in was confusing she mentioned to text them half an hour before arrival which I did but when I get to the station she said it will be ready in an hour so I went to get some food after 15 min she called me saying the guy with the keys is leaving now hurry up. When I arrived then they realized they sent the guy with the key to the wrong address so had to wait 10 min for him. The worst part was that the heaters weren't working when I arrived it was cold inside the room and I tried to call someone to fix it but they kept giving me different numbers and the last one wouldn't answer or pick up, so after making 6-7 failed phone call attempts and being frustrated and sitting with the jacket in the room finally they sent someone after hours late night he said it will be fixed but woke up in the morning from the cold! Again call them several times and finally the owner showed up and fixed the issue. The heater switch is for the whole building so if they set it low your room won't get any warmer than that. The management company SUCKED. They kept us waiting "just a few minutes" for several hours to get in. They wouldn't bring us more towels. The handsoap was empty and broken, and they wouldn't bring another one. Eventually they brought more towels, but not after hounding them for days. We were promised a courtesy room cleaning for our good behavior but the cleaners only cleaned the lobby room and left. They never took out the trash, which you can imagine piled up after a whole week. The used towels also piled up. The bathroom is cool, but water gets everywhere due to the open concept design, so we sacrified a few towels so we didn't slip.. which were never taken out. The management was a mess.
