Lovely hotel conveniently situated outside of the centre, allowing for a quieter stay and better night sleep. The beds are very soft, you just sink in to them which makes them comfy but made me a bit too warm, still got good enough sleep so can't complain too much. The room was spacious and bathroom clean. I did drop my pen on the floor at one point and the floors under the bed did not look to have been cleaned recently. The transport into the centre was easy once you do it once. You take a bus from just around the corner (2 mins walk from hotel) and this drops you off right outside the train station where you get a train from there in to the centre. The staff were lovely and provided us with a kettle upon request, quick and easy check in and check out.

Amsterdam Noorde è comoda come scelta di alloggio, l’hotel è a circa 10 min a piedi dalla metro che arriva rapidamente in centro. La stanza è ampia, il bagno non ha ventole nè finestre, ma tutto sembra recente. La pulizia è abbastanza adeguata, ma sicuramente non è ineccepibile. C’era calcare sui sanitari per esempio della doccia e c’erano macchioline sullo specchio, sicuramente piccole cose che cambiano la percezione dell’esperienza. In ogni caso l’alloggio è consigliato complessivamente!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room was clean. It is a basic hotel, somewhat dated. I did not eat there so can’t comment on the breakfast or restaurant. The complementary beverage was a nice touch. The hotel is close to the Norde train terminal which was convenient.

Hôtel très bien situé si vous êtes en voiture. Réception 24h/24 et ça c’est top. Le lit King size est énorme et le son de la TV est top. Il y avait une araignée dans la salle de bain, et les chaussettes sont rapidement noires sur le dessous quand on marche dans la chambre, dommage. La machine à café ne marchait pas non plus.

Je vais être très franc, mon avis est divisé en deux parties. Celle concernant les employés de l'hôtel et la chambre en elle-même. Je n'ai rien à signaler concernant les employés, ils font un travail remarquable. En revanche, ce qui est de la chambre, il y a énormément de points à signaler. En rentrant, dans la chambre, nous avons découvert une forte odeur de vomi. Celle-ci est restée tout le long de notre séjour. Nous avons également retrouvé une paire de chaussettes usagée sous notre lit. La salle de bain. Quant à elle, elle est très sombre. Il y a à peine une petite lumière, le lit est divisé en deux pour faire un lit double avec un sur-matelas qui est de mauvaise qualité. Beaucoup trop moelleux, un coussin qui était pas agréable. . Il y avait une clim en bon état de fonctionnement

Never stay at Bastion Hotel

At our check out day, the Hotel has double charged us (230EUR). So we pay for our stay 2 times. After long conversations with the staff in the hotel, It took almost 1 week to get the payment back in our bank account and therefore we had limited money to continue our vacation.  Even though we planned to check out at 9:30 AM, we ended up leaving the hotel at 11:30 AM. In the meantime, we also got a parking fine because the parking ticket was exceeded by 10 minutes. Although the hotel has taken responsibility for their mistakes by email and wanted to provide proof for the parking company, they have not responded to our inquiries. We want to get in touch with a senior manager, but no one sends us further in the organization. The inquiries are not answered. I would not recommend Bastion Hotel Noord to any guests. The rooms are dirty, no elevator and not baby friendly hotel. The staff is not friendly and does not show understanding of the guests' needs. The food in the hotel is overpriced. We will never stay at Bastion Hotel again.

Bon hôtel pratique

Près du Norden Park, cet hôtel est plutôt bien placé (à 1/4 h à pied du métro), en particulier lorsque l’on est en voiture (parking payant dans la rue). Bon service avec chambre faite chaque jour (ce qui devient rare). Quelques oublis toutefois par les femmes de ménage (serviettes propres oubliés à 2 reprises sur un séjour de 4 jours). En conclusion, bon rapport qualité prix néanmoins.

Overordnet set var vi tilfredse. Dog var det ene af vores værelser ikke gjort rent - der stod en tom colaflaske, en halv dåseøl og gulvet var beskidt da vi tjekkede ind sent om aftenen. Der blev straks sendt rengøring op da vi gjorde opmærksom på det næste morgen. Køkkenet var ikke åbent den første aften vi ville spise der - kokken var vist ikke mødt op. Personalet var rigtig søde og hjælpsomme og morgenmaden var fin.

The only think i didnt like was that guests smoke Next to my Window and i can smell the cigarettes and hear their conversation, perhaps at 1:30 am. But i guess is more the guests than the Hotel Itself. The Personal from Hotel was very Kind and warm.
