We loved Banks Mansion! The breakfast was amazing! We enjoyed the amenities including cocktails in the lounge area. And the location was perfect!

I didn’t receive room upgrade that VIP benefits should have permitted. I received an up charge for arriving too early. It was after a very long flight and we were exhausted so I didn’t make a stink. The hotel, amenities, pleasantness of staff was all very good. My only issue was that upon check-in I inquired about places to eat and was only informed of a pricey restaurant across the street from the hotel. I was told by the gentleman that others nearby were”touristy”. After walking just beyond the hotel to toward the flower gardens and nearby cinema, it was clear that there were MANY dining options in the area offering a variety of cuisines within walking distance. The front desk person also gave me the same kind of limited info about how to purchase a ticket to the Van Gogh Museum when the official websites listed them as sold out. So you know you CAN actually purchase tickets from other entities including Expedia which offers different options with a few different companies. Please have desk staff share all options upon request. For the most part, everyone else was super friendly. All of the female front desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast staff were delightful, service great, food was delicious. I’d give the place another try.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. Large building with high ceilings and exquisite decor. All the satf were super friendly. They have an all inclusive bar where you can help yourself 24/7 at 4pm tbey bring wine out that stays until midnight and at 5pm they bring out a cheese cart with crackers etc. All of this is included and at no cost. Breakfast is also included, a small continental breakfast is available self serve and an omelette and pancake station for freshly cooked items. They also have crispy bacon and mini chicken sausage 😋 . A small mini bar in your room also free including water chocolate and some alcoholic drinks. The room was spotless, a nice size and well decorated. The bed and pillows are the best I've ever had the pleasure off! Facilities in the room consist of iron & board, towels, robe and slippers, safe small fridge, glasses, nespresso machine, hairdryer,tv and telephone. Would highly recommend and definitely return should i ever visit Amsterdam again.

Would definitely recommend
Very nice hotel, great location, few nice complimentary drinks in minibar, room was nice size and comfortable. Only issue is I was due to receive a free bottle of wine as a Hotels.com VIP guest but there was nothing!

One of my favorite hotels!
This is the nicest hotel stay I’ve had. Staff were friendly and helpful. Full breakfast including eggs made to order and fresh squeezed orange juice. Wine and cheese in the evenings. Full bar at no extra charge. They had champagne and olibollen on New Year’s Eve. Steam shower. Beautiful furnishings. In walking distance from everything. We loved our stay!

I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. They include drinks throughout the whole stay, and have a cheese tray every day at 5PM. This allowed me to come back from my day out, and rest a little bit before going out again to continue my night. Location is particularly good to walk all around the centre of Amsterdam. Breakfast was also very good. They provide omelettes made fresh by the employees. I would come back and stay and this place.

What I enjoyed the most was the bed, along with the staff. They were phenomenal team, from the moment we arrived until we left. Breakfast was wonderful and the complimentary drinks and liquor. Minutes away from the central station n shopping and dining areas. Overall, experience being first time in Amsterdam was pleasant. We will return to Banks Mansion Hotel, when we decide to come back to Amsterdam.

The open bar, snacks, wine, breakfast, and common spaces were so worth the price. The room was as described except it didn't have most of the amenities described. But the common amenities made up for that. All staff were courteous, but some were somewhat dismissive and not overly helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Fabulous Banks Mansion
Just came back from such a lovely 4 night stay at The Banks Mansion, the staff were absolutely wonderful from reception to the lovely breakfast chefs who made the lovely fresh omelettes and pancakes in the morning. The afternoon treats ( we enjoyed the cheeses and wine ) were fabulous, a welcome sight after walking around the city all day. We had a lovely canal view and even though it was freezing outside it was so sunny that we enjoyed being able to open the huge windows and enjoy the fresh crisp air. We will definitely be back some day!

This hotel has become my go-to for frequent trips to Amsterdam. It is reasonably priced (by today’s crazy standards) and inclusive of so many little extras. There is a very nice breakfast, as well as an open bar each evening until midnight! Lots of restaurants in the immediate area, as well as a quick walk to shopping and many sights and museums. My only small complaint is that I was charged a 50 Euro early check-in fee this time when I arrived two hours prior to the official check in time. It felt a little bit like a rip-off, especially as the hotel wasn’t full and my room was ready when I arrived. Not the best business move in my opinion.

Hotel is very nice but very warm, not like some very nice hoels are. That it's readily accessible to whatever you want is just a bonus, and both the bef and shower were great. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet comfortable rooms plus loads of perks!
We were a little nervous when we checked into our street/tram facing ground floor room, but the soundproofing here is amazing. We did not here a thing from outside and sleep well in our comfy bed! The free bar is a lovely touch and it is nice to sit and watch the world go by on the canals with a drink and nibbles. The location is great and there is a tram stop right outside that takes you to Centraal Station. The generous and varied breakfast buffet was yummy!

The Banks Mansion is a spectacular hotel! It is so conveniently located for walking around the city and the daily amenities it offers are wonderful. We especially enjoyed the evening wine and cheese social time, getting to know other guests, but the breakfasts were really good as well. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed here several times and the staff is always the best. This time we were disappointed with things that were not working correctly. Our bath and in room refrigerator were both broke and the ice machine in the hallway was also not functioning. The staff was very helpful with this but we still paid for a suite and expected better

What an amazing hotel in Amsterdam! The hotel is centrally located, the staff is super friendly, the hotel is clean, and the amenities provided are amazing. Another bonus is that it has a convenient tram point right outside, which makes getting to the hotel from Central Station Easy, as well as getting back to the airport upon departure. The hotel is all inclusive, so that’s a plus, they have a decent selection of liquor and beer to pick from. They also put out assorted wines and snacks daily around 4pm. Special thank you to Kaoutar and Shafani for making me feel like family during my stay and jamming to some Britany Spears with me, you guys are awesome! Additionally, Patrick, the daytime manager went above and beyond to help me during my stay, also making me feel welcome and comfortable! I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Amsterdam! 5/5!
