"The house was muchbigger than i exspected,love the old school video games alot.Its a very peaceful location,you can easily fall asleep to the rushing waters behind the house,a quiet neighborhood.Mr. West greeted you often,and is an intelligent man who provided good conversation and we had some laughs.Hes very knowledgeable about the area,and passionate about it as well,it's his home and to me thats a good feeling,i will be returning in the fall to ride the trails,access is easy and trails are endless.The house is well furnished,and parking is plentiful."

"The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and laundry facilities had everything we needed. The location felt private while also being conveniently located. Very close to Chief Logan State Park, which was really fun to explore. The owner was friendly and provided good ideas of things to do in the area.Be sure to get check-in details ahead of time, as our cell reception was spotty in this area. There was a fairly strong cat urine odor upon entering the home, but there was Febreze in the bathroom which helped to remedy that. "

"We’ve stayed in many houses around the Hatfield McCoy trail system and this house is now one of our favorites. Another review said it was like walking into your own home and that’s exactly right. Very clean. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware, crockpot, utensils and spices and such. All linens, soaps, toilet tissue, paper towels and trash bags are there. About 4.5 miles to a couple different trail entrances, for Braveheart and Rockhouse. Steve and Diana have gone above and beyond to make you feel at home. Many personal touches and nice photos and tributes to their son throughout. We highly recommend this home."
