Orange Tree Cottage (2 bedrooms, sleeps 4) Cosy Country Retreat in Amarante.

  • The cottage is detached, set against terraces offering many places to relax. The pool has a granite terrace with views towards the river Olo and its crystal clear water and hills covered with trees. With the farm bounded by 2 rivers we can arrange white water rafting and canoeing as well as fishing and hill walking. We have a jeep suitable for safari through the mountains and eucalyptus plantations. In amarante apart from a market, many cafe/bars and restaurants there is an 18 hole golf course, aqua park and sports centre for many activities as well as tennis. With the a4 mtorway 6km away both the coast and inland cities like Vila Real, Braga, Guimaraes, Porto and the Douro Valley are all less than 1 hours drive.
