House built in the 60's is the family retreat at weekends.
It is 5 km from the historic center of Amarante, 35 min. of Porto and 40 Kms from Régua and Vila Real.
The space is great for couples and families with children, allowing you to rest and enjoy the beautiful views of the Serra do Marão.
In Amarante you can enjoy parks, art, culture and sports, good restaurants with typical gastronomy and conventual sweets and enjoy the region's green wine.

We stayed with two couples for 14 days at this lovely house. Olga and Paulo were fabulous hosts and gave us countless of wonderful tips on what to do and where to eat. Communication was flawless. Check in was easy and Paulo greeted us with a bottle of wine and fresh pastry specific to the region. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. AC in the two master bedrooms, the LR, and the DR was appreciated. As a pleasant surprise we had a house cleaning and fresh bed sheets after one week. The garden is beautiful and outdoor furniture invite to lounge and hang out. The house is located on a small road, however the amount of traffic surprised us. Lidl in Amarante (10 min drive) was convenient and we fell in love with this beautiful town. This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to explore the Douro Valley and Porto region. Thank you, Paula and Olga for having us.

Ravis de notre choix. Cette maison est jolie, grande, bien pensée, propre, bien équipée. Le jardin est très agréable et la vue juste incroyable. Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute, disponibles et nous aident à passer un excellent séjour avec de précieux conseils. Je recommande vivement cette location! Merci encore à vous deux, Paulo et Olga!

Nous avons pu profiter pendant 10 jours de cette maison de « campagne » pour profiter de la région de Porto. Cette grande maison climatisée bénéficie d’une super vue dégagée ainsi que d’une terrasse arborée où nous avons pris nos repas. Notre fils a entamé sa carrière de basketteur en profitant du panier de basket installé. Endroit très agréable que nous recommandons vivement . Merci à Paulo pour son accueil!

Ruime woning met een grote tuin om het huis heen. Prachtig uitzicht over de vallei. Amarante is een leuk stadje waar je lekker kunt eten. Het huis ligt een half uur rijden Van Porto waar het zeer goed toeven is.

Très bien Propriétaires à l ècoute même avec des problèmes de traduction Un seul petit inconvénient un des lits ; le tour de lit grinçait dès que l on bougeait . Propriété très calme, Logement à recommandé pour des vacances au calme
