The staff were extremely kind and helpful.
The view from my balcony was excellent.
It was good to have a pool, and the pool deck was also an excellent place to sit with a beautiful view of the town and the sea.
It is an old school hotel, understated with class, older style decor kept up well.
The breakfast was good, once again a great view.
Being an older building, the noise from the next room was pretty noticable, and on the deck next to me the folks smoked cigars as well as at the pool. But thats Europe.
Its quite a trudge into the main part of Positano, you have to be ready for a long walk into town proper and a longer one back.
Be aware, the pool is small and shallow, you wont be swimming, but probably a plus with kids.
The restaurant and staff are great, but expensive.
I would stay again, and would say my experience was "very good".
