"This hotel is without doubt “budget”. It’s dated and tatty and in the middle of nowhere, but the bed was comfy and was fine for a base for a couple of nights as I was working in Cambridge. The added bonus of having a basic continental breakfast was appreciated. Parking on site too. If it’s prices rise much more, it wouldn’t be worth it but for a cheap hotel it’s a decent enough base."

Though the kitchen is very compact, the air fryer and induction stove meant we could make some meals, and everything else about the cottage is cozy and welcoming. "Good base for the week. Did have a couple of times people trying to get in as they thought it was part of the raptor foundation so had to have the door locked all the time. Walls are very thin so could hear the people next door snoring all night. There is a sign up in the bath room saying after 5days you get fresh linen and towels but this didnt happen, i stayed for 7nights. Lovely hotel and great breakfast
"I had a great stay at The Bull, the hotel looks lovely and elegant when you walk in. The staff are helpful and pleasant and my room was great. It was large and had a desk and computer chair, which was a welcome addition as I was attending for work. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the best hash browns I’ve ever had! One thing to note, the breakfast is £12 if ordered in the evening and this goes up to £15 in the morning so make sure you opt in ahead of time if you’re looking to have breakfast there."
