About this property

Visit Gobbler's Roost for a relaxing nature retreat.

  • Gobbler's Roost is a step away from everyday life, where you can relax and escape back to nature. It's a rustic cabin, but with all the modern conveniences of home. Settled on the top of the ridge in the middle of the woods, you will find all the peace and quiet you crave, but still will be close enough to Lake Raystown, hiking and biking trails, fishing, kayaking an boating. You can find swimming, mini-golf, horse-back riding, and a water park not far away at Raystown Resort and only about 45 minutes south of State College. You'll find a massively long dining table, a large living room with a fireplace and hearth reaching to the cathedral ceilings, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of space for guests to sleep (up to 14). You'll also find spacious outdoor space for spending time, including a large front porch, a large rear deck with seating and a firepit on the premises. Although there is one bathroom, you'll find a large shower with a seat. If you've ever booked with us before, you will note that we've been welcoming guests to our beautiful cabin for over 10 years. We welcome you to check our beloved family cabin in this beautiful location for yourself.
