"Room was clean , tidy and an excellent size with the addition of a kitchen which was well equipped. Staff we came into contact with were all helpful, pleasant and welcoming . I feel that on some mornings the cooked breakfast items could have been better stocked . Staff maybe could keep a better eye on this especially on busier mornings . Lack of disabled parking to accommodate 2 hotels in the vicinity."

"When we arrived, my husband wasn't well. I asked for a weelchair to help us- none available- PLEASE GET ONE AS YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN ONE MIGHT BE NEEDED. Proper room service would also help. The staff were very helpful to us, as far as was possible"

Cathedral Quarter Hotel - Derby

Cathedral Quarter Hotel - Derby

8/10 Good
"Lovely old property, it was right for us within nice walking distance to darley park for a concert( 20 mins). Very quiet area, slept lovely, comfy bed and pillows. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Perhaps needs a bit of tlc and promoting as it didn't seem busy and really should be. If the outside door looks closed late at night just push it you can get in. Good value for money."
