  • The house is in the territory of Altavilla Milicia, a few kilometres away from Palermo and Monreale architectonic beauties (25km), along the coast that, passing through characteristic seaside villages such as Porticello, S. Elia, S. Nicola l’Arena and the evocative Punic ruins in Solunto, shows the prestigious and ancient villas of Bagheria (10km), and leads to the renowned Norman town of Cefalù (50km). 'Altavilla'offers you an absolute relax stay in a delicious and wide apartmnent, in my parents' villa, very well furnished in each detail, surrounded on greenery, with a splendid terrace with swimming-pool overlooking the sea, dominated by an ancient Norman tower.Just outside the apartment, a lovely terrace of 30 sqm with garden, the pool and the sea view. The pool measures 6X12mt, and is shared with me, my parents (we use it very little) and my sister's family (4 people: my nephews use more often the pool, my sister and my brother-in law a lot less) that has a house 60 mt far from the apartment. We have two dogs, affectionate and playful that, in presence of guests, are not free to wander around the property and are in spaces dedicated to them. The beach is about 1.5 km far, bar, market medium sized, banks, restaurants, pharmacy, post office and emergency medical service, are 3.5 km. Also, for those who wish, in the near fishing village of St. Nicola l'Arena you can rent boats with or without a driver for a tour of the suggestive coast which is in front of our house.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was clean and well-maintained, with a rustic charm and an extremely peaceful location. The pool is only shared with one neighbouring villa, and we were often on our own; there is a shaded terrace for evening meals. It's a remote location up an unmaintained road, so a car is essential (taxis didn't seem to be an option), but you're within easy reach of the local towns. The local restaurant (Villa Nosa) does takeaway pizzas which are huge, and highly recommended (a short drive). The kitchen is well-maintained but quite basic. It's a beautiful, traditional Italian kitchen, and both this and the bathroom are set into the cliff face, which adds to their charm. The owner Guiseppe, lived in the house above the property and was always on hand for any questions we had. He was extremely welcoming and helpful, keeping in touch before our arrival and during our stay should we need it. We'd recommend this if you are looking for a place to completely switch off and relax, accessing local activities as needed.

Casa con panorama bellissimo e piscina per relax

Vacanza in famiglia con due ragazzini di 9 e 11 anni null'ultima settimana di giugno e la prima di luglio in questa casa che si trova al piano inferiore di un'unica unità la cui parte superiore è utilizzata dai proprietari che però durante il nostro soggiorno non c'erano. L'alloggio è piuttosto funzionale, anche se un pò datato, immerso in uno splendido contesto di verde e con la piscina che si apre ad un panorama meraviglioso. La proprietà, così come la piscina, è condivisa con gli eventuali ospiti di un'altra casa presente all'interno della stessa ma la vegetazione e le eque distanze garantiscono comunque un'adeguata privacy e tranquillità. Bisogna necessariamente avere una macchina perché la casa si trova in collina e le località marine e non da visitare e provare sono comunque tante. Il proprietario, Giuseppe, è davvero gentile e disponibile. All'arrivo ci ha fatto trovare l'appartamento perfettamente in ordine con tutto ciò che era previsto e anche delle bottiglie d'acqua in frigo. Potete sicuramente affidarvi a lui per qualsiasi necessità perché aiuta davvero in tutto: sia da quello che serve o non va nella struttura fino a consigli su cosa visitare, dove andare a mangiare o negozi di cui si può avere bisogno.

Our family stayed in this home for our second week of vacation after having stayed a fantastic and intense week in Rome. We were looking for a place to kickback, rest, relax and recharge. We were not disappointed in this fairly remote location. The rental property is far enough away from the intensity of Palermo (but still close enough to easily day trip there), while also being close to the coastline and to several beautiful beaches (including Cefalu). The rental is part of a larger well maintained and landscaped family property with several houses in proximity to each other. Giuseppe (the property manager) is very friendly, attentive, speaks English and provided us with useful information on nearby attractions and restaurants. The property is on a hillside overlooking the ocean. There is a large clean pool with a spacious sunny deck that our family looked forward to hanging out on after a day of exploring the coastline or the surrounding mountains. The property is quiet and I found myself torn between turning my deck chair to face the ocean or the dramatic mountainside behind the property. Either way it was a win win. After a week here we left reluctantly but were rested and ready to return to reality. Cheers

Wunderbare Erfahrung

Wir waren zu dritt 21 Tage im Ferienhaus.Meine Frau die jüngste Tochter und ich fühlten uns vom Zeitpunkt der Begrüßung wohl in dieser Umgebung. Sehr nützlich im Haus war der portable Wärmestrahler in den ersten Tagen des Aprils, da besonders in den Abendstunden die Temperaturen im Haus merklich abkühlten. Wie zugesagt, war der Pool geöffnet. Nach den ersten Sonnentagen stieg auch die Wassertemperatur an. Wir verbrachten unsere Ruhezeiten dann am und im Pool immer dann sobald die Sonne schien. Gepflegt und gesäubert wurde der Pool über die gesamte Zeit von Giuseppe selbst.Über Whatts App mit ihm verbunden konnten wir alle Anliegen und Wünsche in Englisch vorbringen , die dann zu unserer Zufriedenheit gelöst bzw. erfüllt wurden. Der Blick aufs Meer( von den Fewo- Fotos vorher bekannt) ist von der Terasse und vom Pool in Natur noch viel schöner, sobald das italienische Licht ( il sole ) da ist. Wir waren hierher gekommen um Palermo und die nähere Umgebung kennen zu lernen.Nach dem zweiten ganzen Tag in Palermo ( mit dem Auto hin und zurück sowie in der City gefahren ) gab Giuseppe uns den Tip den Zug von Altavilla Milicia bis Palermo das nächste Mal zu nehmen.Klappte dann auch wirklich gut. Kann ich jedem Besucher nur empfehlen es ebenso zu tun, aufgrund des unbeschreiblichen dichten Verkehrs dort. So sind die drei Wochen in denen wir weitere Ziele nahe am Meer, sowie auch innerhalb Siziliens besuchten schnell vergangen. Nochmals herzlichen Dank an Giuseppe für die liebenswerte Betreuung in und an diesem herrlichen Platz der Welt. .veröffentlicht Mai 2019

Excellent hôte, location et séjour ! Je recommande fortement !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Giuseppe est un hôte au top ! Au moindre petit problème que nous rencontrions (personnel, en dehors de la location) il était là pour nous aider. Il nous a donné énormément de conseils et d’adresses afin que notre séjour se passe au mieux. L’annonce tient ses promesses, les photos sont très réalistes, aucune surprise en arrivant si ce n’est la beauté du lieu. La piscine est entretenue, la maison est grande et très bien équipée ! Nous étions 4 étudiants et une voiture est plus que conseillée pour se déplacer facilement (valable pour toute la Sicile) Giuseppe est attentionné et très arrangeant avec ses invités. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés ! We had an excellent stay! Giuseppe is a host at the top! At the slightest problem we encountered (personal, outside the rental) he was there to help us. He gave us a lot of advice and addresses so that our stay went well. The announcement keeps its promises, the photos are very realistic, no surprise when arriving except the beauty of the place. The pool is maintained, the house is large and very well equipped! We were 4 students and a car is more than recommended to move easily (valid for all Sicily) Giuseppe is attentive and very accommodating with his guests. We recommend closed eyes!

Mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht

Een mooi huis in de bergen. Hierdoor prachtig uitzicht met in de verte de zee. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima wifi. Mooi terras in de schaduw. Fijn zwembad met ligbedden. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij heeft allerlei tips voor uitjes en goede restaurants in de buurt. We zouden hier echt voor een tweede keer weer boeken.

Meget venlig vært - roligt sted med meget flot udsigt

Værtenyderst hjælpsom og imødekommende vært. Han havde købt is til børnene ved vores ankomst. Huset ligger i et stille område med fantastisk udsigt fra poolen og en hyggelig terrasse med dejlig skygge. Huset var stort stort og rent og havde alle de faciliteter der var brug for. Aircondition på værelserne, stort køleskab og stort badeværelse med boblebad. Der var rent overalt og værten kom flere gange og gjorde poolen ren. Vi kan varmt anbefale stedet til andre. Det er et fantastisk sted for en børnefamilie.

Sehr schöne und geschmackvolle Ferienwohnung mit privatem Charakter.

Wir waren im Mai 2018 17 Nächte in der Ferienwohnung und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er hat uns einige Restaurant- und Ausflugstipps gegeben. Auch wenn wir irgendwelche Anliegen hatten, konnten wir alles schnell per WhatsApp klären. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist zwar etwas abseits und man benötigt in jedem Fall einen fahrbaren Untersatz, dafür waren wir auf dem Anwesen alleine und hatten den großzügigen Garten und großen Pool zur alleinigen Nutzung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort hinfahren. Für uns war es Erholung pur.

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit viel Platz und herrlicher Lage ....... !

Ideal für bis zu vier Personen. Großer, sehr gepflegter Pool mit herrlichem Blick in den Garten und in das Tal. Perfekt für Ausflüge nach Parlermo, Cefalu usw. Geschmackvoll und stilsicher eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit viel Platz. Super netter Vermieter, der einem gerne bei Fragen und Ausflugstipps weiterhilft. Ohne Navi ist das Ferienhaus allerdings schwierig zu finden, da dieses ziemlich versteckt in den Bergen liegt.

Wer Entspannung such ist hier ganz richtig

Wir haben 12 wundervollen Tage mit unvergesslichem Meeresblick im nördlichen Sizilien verbracht. Guiseppe ist sowohl bevor unsere Ankunft als auch bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr hilfsbereit und zugänglich gewesen. Wir wollten gerne in den umlegenden kleinen Bergen radfahren, und Guiseppe hat uns ein schönes Mountainbike vermittelt und es von Palermo abgeholt und wieder nach unserem Aufenthalt zurückgebracht. Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten von längere Anstiege in der nächsten Umgebung, so dass man ungefähr 1500 Höhenmeter innerhalb 70 Kilometer schafft. Wir waren nur meine Frau und ich, so wir hatten viel Platz im Haus, und es ist sehr schön, dass es Aircondition sowohl im Schlaf- als auch im Wohnzimmer gibt, so dass man auch nach einem langen heissen Tag das letzte vom Abend und die Nacht gekühlt geniessen kann. Von der Terrasse gibt es einem wunderschönen Blick über den Pool und das Meer. Oft sind wir am Abend stundenlang dort gesessen um es zu geniessen. Wir hatten den Pool die ganze Zeit für uns alleine und haben auch viel Zeit in den Liegen um den Pool verbracht und Bücher gelesen und sind zwischendurch erfrischend ins Wasser gegangen, wenn die Temperaturen zu hoch wurden. Es ist auch leicht Ausflüge von dem Haus zu machen. Wir waren in Palermo (mit dem Zug von Bagheria - 15 Minuten), Cefalu (45 Minuten) und den Bergen im Hinterland, Segesta, Erice, Trapani und Marsala (2 Stunden) mit dem Auto. Zusammengefasst: Wenn man Sonne, schöne Aussichte, ein grosser Pool, Privatleben, Wander- und Radfahrmöglichkeiten in den Bergen, ein sehr aufmerksamer Wirt und spannende Ausflugsziele sucht, findet man alles hier mit Ausgangspunkt in Altavilla Milicia!

A tranquil haven

We spent five days in this peaceful setting. Guiseppe extends a very warm welcome to his guests and you are soon settled into the lovely, well appointed, spacious appartment. Between the shady terrance and the swimming pool we spent many happy hours. The views of the sea and mountains are wonderful. Easy access by car to nearby shops and cafes. The fishing village of Puntacello is well worth a visit. Palermo is only a 35 minute train journey away from the local station which is only a 10 minute drive away, although leave enough time to walk to the nearby cafe to buy the train ticket. Trains run every hour. We look forward to our return trip.

Wir haben wir hier eine Ferienwohnung in wunderschöner Lage vorgefunden. Oberhalb des Ortes liegt die Ferienwohnung auf einem großen Grundstück mit Pool. Das Haus selber ist einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die vorhandenen Möbel sind alt aber erfüllen Ihren Zweck Eine Woche Entspannung pur.

wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen

Wir, zwei Erwachsene und unsere zwei jugendlichen Söhne, haben in dieser schönen, riesigen gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung gute zwei Wochen verbracht. Die Wohnung hat wie beschrieben ein seperates Schlafzimmer, einen riesigen Wohnbereich, in dem die zwei weiteren sehr bequemem Betten durch eine Trennwand abgetrennt stehen und eine fast altertümlich wirkende Küche mit ursprünglichen, alten, schönen Fliesen. Atmoshärisch ist es sehr gemütlich und auch der sehr große und mit vielen Pflanzen bewachsene Garten, die große Terasse mit dem Blick auf den supergroßen Pool, der auch von wunderschönen alten Fliesen umgeben ist, und das Meer sind einfach erholsam. Es laufen ab und zu die zutraulichen Hunde von Guiseppe und seiner Familie auf dem Grundstück herum und besonders in Luna haben wir uns sofort verliebt. Insgesamt waren wir aber oft ganz alleine, da nur selten Guiseppe oder seine Schwester oder Eltern da waren. Sie sind alle sehr nett, vor allem hat sich Guiseppe sehr gut um uns gekümmert und war immer erreichbar und wir haben uns gerne mit ihm auf italienisch und englisch unterhalten. In der näheren Umgebung kann man im notwendigen Auto gut historische Stätten wie Segesta, kleine sizilianische Orte wie Cefalu oder Monreale ansehen, aber auch Großstadtleben in Palermo erleben oder einen sehr beeindruckenden Skulpturenpark besuchen. Wunderschönes Urlaubsdomizil

Wir, eine Familie mit zwei schon fast erwachsenen Jungen, waren gute zwei Wochen in dem Haus und sind sehr traurig, dass die Zeit noch viel zu kurz war und schon vorbei ist. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt, es war genau wie Giuseppe es beschrieben hatte, groß, gepflegt, ursprünglich eingerichtet, ein separates Schlafzimmer, gute Matrazen, die anderen beiden bequemen Betten im riesigen Wohnbereich nur durch eine Trennwand abgetrennt, aber für uns war es in Ordnung. Die Küche wirkt fast wie aus dem letzten Jahrhundert, schöne alte Fliesen etc, und ist so ausgestattet, sodass man gut kochen kann. Auf der Terasse, bei der man in der sommerlichen Hitze immer ein Schattenplätzchen findet, kann man den Blick in die freie Natur, den superschönen, riesigen Pool und das Meer genießen! Es war sehr erholsam und ruhig, wir waren oft ganz allein und hatten die überwiegende Zeit den Pool nur für uns. Wir wurden super von Guiseppe betreut, er war telefonisch immer erreichbar und hat sich sofort gekümmert und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben, was wir unternehmen können und wir haben uns nett mit ihm auf Italienisch und Englisch unterhalten. In der näheren Umgebung kann man mit dem auf jeden Fall notwendigen Auto historische Orte wie Segesta besichtigen, Palermo bequem mit dem Zug in 25 Minuten erreichen, einen sehr beeindruckenden Skulpturenpark, schöne sizilianische kleine Orte etc. ansehen und auch kleine Wanderungen unternehmen. Guiseppe und seine Familie waren sehr nett und die Hunde zutraulich und anhänglich. Besonders in Luna haben wir uns verliebt. Tante saluti a Guiseppe et grazie mille per il tempo Meravilglioso!!! FANTASTICO !!!

Abbiamo passato una bellissima vacanza a giugno 2015. La casa è esattamente come in foto, i proprietari assolutamente disponibili e cortesi. Il giardino è molto grande e ci sono simpaticissimi cagnoloni a far compagnia, ma che possono anche restare chiusi. L'unica pecca ma non grave, la strada per arrivarci che è un po' in salita. Dalla villa si possono raggiungere bellissime località ma è fondamentale avere la macchina. A 5 minuti di auto si trovano tutti i negozi e supermercati primari e i costi sono davvero molto molto bassi rispetto ai nostri di Milano, Consiglio questa vacanza !!! Grazie a Giuseppe e Caterina !!!!

"Bel environnement, bon accueil, mais le propriétaire n''est pas sur place. Logement grand, un peu sombre, mais frais. Aimer la vie de famille et les chiens. Courses à San Nicolau (attention aux contraventions de stationnement !) ou Altavilla.Nécessité d''avoir un véhicule.Plage la plus proche en graviers, pas très propre, mais familiale et qqs rochers pr voir des poissons. Bruits : aboiements des chiens le matin...Propreté : correcte,qqes fourmis ds la cuisine. Equipement : 2è chambre est en fait dans le grand salon, avec séparation par un paravent si on veut; un peu juste en ce qui concerne la cuisine (ustensiles,vaisselle, plaque chauffante à 3 feux), frigo petit et ne fait pas bcp de froid; panne de chasse d''eau; quand baignoire/jacuzzi pleine, plus d''eau chaude pour les douches ensuite, manque un lave-linge (pr long séjour),eau de nettoyage de la terrasse au- dessus arrive sur celle du dessous. De la piscine, belle vue sur la mer...et la montagne. Grande parcelle et terrain de foot pour les jeunes amateurs éventuellement accessible. Ensemble plutôt calme et agréable à vivre...au son des cigales ! "
