Glamping 'Sleeping Barrel' in the Black Forest

In the heart of the Black Forest in Alpirsbach, you’ll find the unique glamping experience of our Sleeping Barrel – spend the night in a cozy wooden barrel! The barrel accommodates up to 2 guests (2 adults or 1 adult with child) and features 1 bedroom with a double bed and a panoramic window overlooking meadows and the forest edge. With a bit of luck, you can watch cows right outside your window.



The bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink is about 20 m away in the main house and is reserved exclusively for barrel guests. Bed linen, towels, and a hairdryer are provided. A fan is available in the barrel. There is intentionally no Wi-Fi in the barrel, but you can connect in the bathroom area if needed. Breakfast is available for an extra fee. Self-check-in from 2 pm via key box at the barrel, check-out by 10 am.



Outside, relax on your private, uncovered terrace with sun loungers, garden furniture, and a sunshade, or in your own garden. A covered communal terrace, playground, and table tennis are available on the property.



A shared parking space is directly at the barrel or on the property. Public transport is nearby. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is only permitted outside. Events are not allowed.



The barrel is located right next to our holiday farm. Shops and more restaurants in Alpirsbach and Lossburg are a 5-minute drive away. Hiking and cycling trails start directly at the property, and you can join farm activities like horseback riding. Mid-stay cleaning is available for an extra fee.
