We used public transport,for the Almada area, a green viva viagem card is a must. We found it best to use the zapping mode. Can be used on buses, trams and ferries, metro and cp trains for both sides of the river.

Cacilhas
While you're in Cacilhas, take in top sights like Elevador Panoramico da Boca do Vento or Terminal Fluvial de Cacilhas, and hop on the metro to see more of the city at 25 de Abril Station or Cacilhas Station.

Only spent 4 days here, 1 day at Costa da Caparica beach and one day at Troia beach do didn’t really see much of Almada. Would definitely stay longer next time see more.
