When I went for my trip to Albufeira, it was during December where everything was very quiet but not too cold to not go into the private beach that this resort had. I went with 3 other people and stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, and paid around 30 pounds per person. An absolute bargain during this time! Therefore, on the facilities, they were excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious, the arrangement this resort had with the little villas (like little homes) littered around the area with a swimming pool in the vicinity was extremely comfortable. One thing to rave about is the private beach. It is exactly what you would want at your doorstep, and we had some moments where we looked at the stars while laying there at night. The sauna rooms with the indoor swimming pool also offered a very comfortable experience. Overall excellent experience. Recommended if you see a great bargain!

We were very happy with our stay! Honestly if we had gin to Algarve first we probably wouldn’t have made it Lisbon. Shuttle in to town very convenient. Breakfast delicious and ample. Location so very pretty. Pillows could use to be changed out , were a bit flat and firm. But other than that, would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, the the two-bedroom villa, allocated to us, is extremely poor. Family room room felt like volcano with no stopping of heating, other two bed rooms were freezing cold with faulty thermostat, and one bed room had moldy smell. Contacted property, and sent someone to reset the thermostat, and was told that services would come next day but none showed up.

Beachfront location that can’t be beat. Dinner at the beachside Atlantico restaurant was one of our best. Hotel is very nice but the staff seemed tired after the summer crowds

The property and facilities are excellent, the apartment we were in was kept immaculate by the cleaners. The pools, beach and surrounding areas were fantastic. The location was brilliant and we were able to walk or get an uber (very cheap!) everywhere. The restaurants on site were mixed and quite pricey compared to local restaurants in the towns (there are some great ones!). The pizza place on site was fab, although the menu was limited. It could have done with a little bit more entertainment, but I guess it depends what you're looking for. It was very peaceful on the whole.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff are very attentive. Direct access to the beach. Breakfast is super. The hotel is a bit remote but they do provide a free shuttle bus service to the town.

Beautiful property. The restaurants were excellent. For a 5 star hotel, there were some peeling on the walls in our apartment and in some of the common areas. There is a shuttle to go to city center but ends early. Nice staff but I didn’t feel it was a VIP treatment. Everyone was nice to everybody. Will definitely consider going back.

We loved everything about this resort, but particularly the kids club staff who made the children feel so welcome and comfortable. The heated pool was such a bonus, and the view from the beachfront restaurant was amazing.

Fabulous resort hotel. Great heated pools, pretty private beach, easy access to restaurants and a few minutes to Albufeira old town… breakfast buffet is more than you can ask for, Atlantico restaurant is really good but local dining options are a better deal…

1-Staff were rude and unhelpful; they were annoyed about our questions and in one occasion snapped at my friend. 2-We booked a couple of tours with them. They made mistakes with the times and we were about to miss our tour. 3-They also took the money for the tour in cash and didn't mention on the receipt that we paid and we got into trouble with the tour company. 4-We had to stay in line to enter the breakfast room. Cooked breakfast items were very oily and the fruits were not fresh. Sometimes the orange juice was fresh and other times it was from a box. 5-There was nowhere to get water without having to pay. 6-The cash machine charged a lot. It charged €3.95 for a €50 withdrawal. 7-At the beginning they gave us a room classified as sea-view, however it was on the ground floor and didn't really have any view. We managed to change the room after the first night. 8-The air condition in the second room was not working for one night.

Terrible. The price includes nothing. We were turned away from an empty restaurant because we did not have a reservation we never thought we would need to make in April. Each day we went down to the beach located directly on the resort and we’re denied chairs!! Everything closed at 6. Since the resort is about 15 min from downtown we felt uncomfortable venturing in alone and the shuttle service ended at 5. I would not recommend this hotel. The beach is gorgeous but you can’t get a chair from the hotel without extra cost. Terrible communication, would NOT recommend!

Nice hotel on a beautiful beach. Definitely a 4 star hotel but for sure not a 5 star. Breakfast buffet was big and very good, staff very friendly. Unfortunately my room was very cold despite the heat set at the maximum. Also they are still using a wall mount blow dryer which really does not dry long hair.

A mixed bag
Cold room despite the heat set at the maximum 27°. Old interior And overall overrated. Direction link to GOS sent me several kilometers away. Staff are very polite. Breakfast had a lot to offer but not much on the healthy side.

I chose this hotel because of the Expedia VIP Access label and the good nightly rate. The hotel is looking tired and in need of a refurb. Very expensive dining and drinks options too. I was disappointed I had to pay €10 for a half day on the loungers at the beach area. A hotel on the beach should at least offer its guests a great beach experience without additional charges. Wi-Fi was not available in our room upon check-in but we were moved to a new room quite quickly. Having just come from an exceptional 5-star experience in Lisbon at the Epic SANA, I’d be hesitant to say this is a 5-star hotel. Breakfast options were good - and the pool area is wonderful. With so many options available, and having chosen the VIP Access option - I’ll suggest looking at other newer options in the future.

Very nice place--basically right on the beach--if you haven't been to Portugal before you may not realize even on the beach generally means there's also a cliff or hill involved. Here too but a very short walk down. Great dining options--the breakfast that is included was good but they don't keep things like eggs, bacon and sausages in chafing dishes and were cold. Had dinner at the Atlantico Restaurant on property--have the seafood cataplana-its amazing! I would return here in a heartbeat. The ocean view and the vibe of the whole place was very inviting. Jonathan the bartender and Ilyana who checked us in were very helpful.
