"A lovely hotel with delicious food and a beautiful, peaceful setting. You should stay here. We stayed in a little stone cottage separate from the hotel an easy 5-minute walk up the hill. It used to be the dog kennels. In fact, the low stone walls topped with iron fencing that served as the two outside pens of the kennel are still there, as are the doggie doors -- tho’ these are firmly closed. "Staff are amazing and hotel very clean. Hot water poor and was misinformed on enquiry regarding it. Unfortunatley and do not blame this person as new to position but we were told no hot water for couple days. Spoke to another later and explained due to hotel being quiet and old piped needed to run sink and bath taps together until hot eventually comes through. Other wise 5 stars all the way and we will definitely be back"
