Cozy, traditional place close to the river Mosel, with a nice summer terrace and a good selection of wines from the region. Rooms are spacious and comfortable but could do with a bit of modernisation. Friendly staff at all times.

This hotel is unique and absolutely lovely. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us for the entirety of our stay. The only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed. Having an on site restaurant was one of the reasons why I booked this hotel. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

An incredible apartment- it's like something from Grand Designs. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the restaurant in the main building is great too and Alf itself is full of historic charm and character. Definitely a beautiful hotel.

Hotel on the Mosel
If you have trouble with stairs make sure you ask for access to your room with the lift/elevator.. a few rooms you don't have access to using a lift.. We were upgraded into the apt but for us it was difficult to get up the stairs with luggage. The apartment bathroom was poorly designed .. in front of the bathroom sink was a wall all glass looking into the bedroom and we didn't like that. Otherwise it was nice to have the extra space.

Warning - Wi-Fi Limitations!
This is a very nice hotel that just needs a little more square footage and a wi-fi overhaul. Only the dining room has a gracious amount of space, but everything else seems a bit crowded. Our room was very well decorated and appointed, but again, no extra floorspace, and we ended up using an extra couch/daybed to open our suitcases. Another concern was that they had "hot spot" wi-fi that was free but requires you to type in difficult numbers and passwords for about every 10 minutes of use. It was the only hotel in our three month European tour to do this. If you want to watch a one hour television show in English from Netflix, you're going to need to go beg at the front desk over and over to get enough tickets to do the job. The staff are delightful and the hotel very lovely, but this wi-fi arrangement would cause me to not recommend the hotel.

Some issues need attention.
The staff was very kind and helpful. There was a distinct smell of urine in the bathroom although an odoruos spray was used to cover it up. Upon raising the toilet seat, it was noticed that the bottom of the seat had not been properly cleaned for some time.

Hotel management was extremely friendly and helpful. We used the hotel mostly for sleeping and did not partake of the dining or spa add-ons. In this context, it provided great value.

Excellent Hotel
The Hotel was a perfect base for touring the Mosel region. Hotel owner was charming and did all she could to make our stay memorable, nothing was a problem and we were offered an upgrade upon arrival. The room was part of the main Hotel with a larger bathroom and well worth the small cost of upgrading. Food within the Hotel was excellent, i also thought the free bicycle hire was a great gimmick. I would not hesitate regards using this hotel again.

Nice and clean rooms, even rooms under the roof quite cool in a hot period (28-32 Celsius). Good breakfast, nice personell. Small dinner card, but other restaurants nearby. Large wine card. A little traffic and church bell noise, but none with the windows closed. Only German TV-channels and one French; BVN (Dutch) is listed as channel but not available. Good public WiFi.

Schöner Aufenthalt in familiären Hotel
Sehr freundliches Personal. Neben den weiteren Mitarbeitern ist insbesondere die Chefin persönlich sehr bemüht. Das Frühstück ist super mit lokalen Speisen von hoher Qualität. Insgesamt könnten die Zimmer etwas moderner sein, aber das ist auch meckern auf hohem Niveau. Wir kommen gern wieder und können das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Familieværelset var fantastisk. Faktisk en lille lejlighed med det man lige har brug for. Lækkert indrettet og meget lyst og hyggeligt. Vi var meget utilfredse med at have booket overnatning til 4 personer og så ved indtjekning blive mødt med at der kun var morgenmad inkluderet for 2 personer. De sidste to personer skulle betales ved siden af. Det fremgår ingen steder af bookingen. Meget træls overraskelse. Dernæst så havde vi valgt netop dette hotel fordi det i følge hotels.com har pool. Det har hotellet ikke og har aldrig haft det. Det var meget skuffende da vi ankom i 37 graders varme og havde set frem til at køle ned i poolen. Men servicen var ellers fin og lille men lækkert udvalg af morgenmad.

Abstellkammer!?
Dies waren 2 ÜF inkl. 1er Bounusnacht. Wenn das so sein soll das Hotel.com solche Zimmer vergib, dann werde ich in Zukunft darauf verzichten. Was sage ich Zimmer, besser wäre Abstellkammer, wie kann Mann 2 Erwachse Personen so unterbringen? Es müsste verboten werden.

Das Badezimmer viel zu klein,man sich kaum bewegen können . Wurden von der Chefin befragt warum wier Abends nicht gegessen haben.Das solte jeder selber entscheidn und nicht befragt werden.
