The house is in a very quiet area despite being at mt. 700 from Viale Europa (main street of Alcamo) and at mt. 500 from the supermarket, bar, bakery, pharmacy, etc. The villa is surrounded by a garden of approx. 2\. 000 with woods and old trees. The Villa, renovated in May 2017, consists of a ground floor with a living room with two large sofas (one of which is a sofa bed), kitchen, bathroom with shower, large terrace; the first floor has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with two single beds each (for a total of 10 beds) and two bathrooms with hydromassage shower. All four bedrooms have a view of the green forest and surrounding garden. The house is furnished with period furniture, equipped with Bose music system, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen, dishes, oven, fridge, TV, iron and ironing board, deck chairs, tables, chairs and sitting area for outdoor use, slide and swing for children, barbecue and outdoor shower. Hot water is supplied by a photovoltaic system. The splendid beach of Alcamo Marina is just km away. 7\. The holiday home is located in a strategic position, a few kilometers from the motorway junction for Trapani, Mazzara del Vallo, Palermo. If it still gets too hot or too cold, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The wonderful garden invites you to relax or play frisbee, the large terrace to end the evening. With 3 beautifully equipped bathrooms available, the family was quickly ready in the morning without a fight. Surrounded by locals we enjoyed the time in the beautifully furnished house, close to a bakery and close to a shopping market. There's heaps for the kids to do around the house and in the gardens (inc. kids toys, a swing, play equipment, 4 or 5 different gardens and a high chair and Saverio even had a temporary fence installed for us at the bottom of the stairs to stop our toddler from climbing them!), Some days we didn't leave the house at all, and just pottered about and cooked while kids played - the kitchen is very well equipped, and the house works really well. The bedrooms are great, air con throughout and internet terrific - also a great Bose bluetooth sound system which we loved. On top of all this Savverio is truly a magnificent host. Genuine, kind, funny, and great with the kids. You can see he genuinely enjoys looking after guests and showing them the best of Sicily. As far as the town of Alcamo, there's not a tonne to see, but it's charm lies in the fact it isn't a tourist town, so you'll actually see a side of Sicilian life that feels real and get great food and non tourist prices. It's also a terrific base - each day we would leap into the car and head off to all the wondrous surroundings of the area. This is definitely a terrific place is you're happy to leap into the car to explore, want a base for a family that feels like a home away from home, and want to relax on the terrace each night watching the night slowly drift away in the distance. Saverio ie een goede en attente gastheer. De ligging van het huis is mooi en rustig. Het huis is ruim en erg schoon, goede bedden, overal airco. Het uitzicht (zicht op de zee)vanaf het grote terras is prachtig. Het centrum van Alcamo is op loopafstand. Alcamo ligt mooi centraal gelegen ten opzichte van Palermo en andere mooie bezienswaardigheden. Het huis, de omgeving etc. echt de moeite waard!! ##### Martin S. Siamo stati molto ben accolti dal proprietario che ci ha consegnato le chiavi della villa oltre che a informarci sulle regole della casa. Inoltre ci ha fornito un opuscolo dove c’era spiegata la storia della villa e tutte le info utili al soggiorno… MOLTO BEN FATTO. La casa è ben arredata e fornita di tutto il necessario, molto pulita e ordinata e soprattutto completa di ogni confort anche tecnologico. Abbiamo anche trovato la biancheria da bagno e da letto che era tra l’altro ancora imballata, per garantire la pulizia. Il proprietario abita nella villa accanto, ma si è in totale riservatezza.. vista anche la posizione più alta. Oltre alla tranquillità, che ne fa da padrona, abbiamo apprezzato le cene nella grande veranda con vista sul mare, e le serate trascorse tra i suoni della natura. La villa si trova in un punto strategico, infatti da li ci siamo spostati facilmente nella vicinissima Alcamo marina e Castellammare del golfo attrezzatissime località balneari e poi nelle fantastiche località di Scopello e San Vito lo Capo. Riguardo la zona è tutto molto tranquillo ideale per chi vuole rilassarsi e non sentire il rumore della città. Facilmente raggiungibile e a 10 minuti di macchina dal mare/località marittime. Per quanto riguarda la struttura è tenuta molto bene, il sig.
