What a fantastic and peaceful escape from city life. The cabin is modern and beautiful and the warm welcome from Sammy, the dog was priceless. Our days were filled with four wheeler rides, hiking, bonfires and enjoying the crisp mountain air.
Our stay at the ranch was absolutely amazing, if I could give a higher rating, I would. Ernie and Toni were absolutely amazing hosts, The property is gorgeous, and we loved the peacefulness and abundant wildlife seen nearby. Of all the places I’ve traveled, this was one of the hardest to leave.
Ernie and Toni were excellent hosts. Their hospitality was outstanding. The cabin was clean and decorated so beautifully. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We highly recommend this b&b.
We had a great time at the ranch. What a beautiful location. Toni and Ernie are great hosts, we enjoyed our visit very much. Horse creek ranch definitely has a great thing going. Id love to stay agian sometime.
Ranch is beautiful and side by side your by owner was amazing! Very friendly welcoming. Had everything you need. Toni and Ernie were wonderful hosts! Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
We really enjoyed the tranquility. It was so peaceful, private and beautiful. The wildlife was fun to watch. Sammy the dog was very welcoming and lovable. The bunk house is decorated so adorably. The hosts were so thoughtful in providing extra amenities in case you forgot anything. We look forward to our next stay at the bunk house.
We are really happy with our stay, Ernie and Tony are really a good host. Tony think about every little details things that we might need for a stay. She cover all the amenities we need. Ernie took us for a tour on their property. Thank you.....you guys awesome!!
My old, grouchy cowboy relaxed and loved this place. Actually interacted with the owners on this beautiful ranch. If you love Christ, cowboys, Faith and farming, you will love this place. The luxurious bunkhouse has everything you will need other than a few groceries for main meals. The nicest VRBO I have ever stayed in! I have stayed in about 15 from CA to Texas.
My husband and I wanted a relaxing weekend to take photos and be in a quiet setting. The setting is wonderful. The accommodations were well decorated and very comfortable. We were able to bbq every night and used the ranch chef for our breakfasts. Loved spending time with Sammie and the ranch cats. Hosts are fantastic. Think this is our favorite VRBO spot so far. Took lots of photos. Spent time shopping in the huge book store in Alberton. Went sightseeing to Bison Range. Was a fabulous setting and a wonderful time away from our regular life.
Toni and Ernie have turned this bunkhouse into something truly special. From the moment we stepped through the door of the bunkhouse to hugging Toni and Ernie goodbye, every moment of this trip felt magical. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with a genuine Montana feel, this is the place you need to stay at. Toni has the bunkhouse stocked with anything you could possibly need to have a comfortable stay- her attention to detail is unmatched. Ernie is so welcoming and helped us feel like we were right at home. Their Bernese Mountain dog Sammie will become your new best friend. This place is a true 10/10. It is simply the best!
Visited Montana with my sister and stayed at this wonderful property. The owners, Ernie and Toni, have thought of everything. Their property is stunning and flush with wildlife. Ernie’s ranch tour was fabulous and Toni’s attention to detail in and around the property is 2nd to none. Their dog, Sammie, was also a welcomed part of our stay…she is the best! We biked the Hiawatha trail and visited The Jack Saloon (Toni’s referrals) and loved both. It was a wonderful opportunity to step away from our busy lives and decompress. Sad to leave, wish we had more time, LOVED it all. We will be back!
I enjoyed every minute. Toni and Ernie are amazing host. They far exceeded my expectations. They went out of the way to make sure I felt weclomed. I hiked the surrounding mountains every day. There was wildlife everywhere. I enjoyed late night fires highlighted with the sounds of a creek water running nearby and a kabillion stars in the sky. This is an amazing place, so peaceful. I even had the opportunity to meet many of the neighbors. Thank you for introducing me to your village. I miss Sammie, although I'm certain she will warm up to your next guest just as easily. I plan on returning in the future.
This is a fantastic location. The owners are wonderful and provide some snacks and essential items in case you forget. Super comfy, very nice privet cabin feel. Very great value and plan to return. The owners exploring tips were super helpful to an enjoyable weekend at the Hot springs. It’s slightly remote but close enough to drive to stores. I recommend shopping for supplies on your way there. Very intentional detail that makes for a great county feel to the place. Tremendously under valued price point if you ask me. I’m going to use so of the owners decor and design in my personal cabin I’m building.
Thanks so much look forward to see you Anglin in the spring!!!
Loved every minute of it. Toni and Ernie are very down to earth and it was a pleasure getting to know them during our stay. Ernie took us on a tour of their property with his UTV and Toni provided a horseback ride as well however that was extra $ and very understandable as to why. I unfortunately couldnt indure the saddle for very long due to an old injury and Toni made a good call to stop as Im stubborn and would have put up with the pain against my better judgement...so a BIG THANK YOU to her!
We loved the property and especially their Bernise Mt dog Sammie!!! Sammie would greet us each morning at our door!!!
Do yourself a favor and stay at this place...you will not be disappointed!

A Montana Rental, rich in Hospitality, History & Comfort
We cannot say enough about our time stayed in the Bunkhouse at the Horse Creek Ranch. The welcoming committee (a new best friend "Sammie" & 3 Calico beauties) immediately made us feel at home. We privately parked in a covered outside area with a lovely seating area for grilling, dining & relaxing. Inside we enjoyed wonderful linens, a luxurious shower and honestly all the comforts of home. We were taken on tour of the property, enjoyed a wonderful bonfire with the property owners and were sent off with homemade bread and jam on the morning of our departure. Ernie & Toni, we thank you for this wonderful experience. You may have found your calling! We sense there could be an expansion on the horizon, as you two are the perfect hosts and are so good at sharing your kindness.
Best Wishes,
Jeff & Terri
P.S. Whoever left you a 4-star review, I assure you, it was in error!
Everything was AMAZING and Toni was a wonderful host! We learned a ton about the property and got to go on a nice horseback ride! She allowed me to bring two of my horses and it was a lot of fun!
I cannot begin to describe how wonderful the hosts are along with their beautiful property and cutest little bunkhouse. They will make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Ms. Toni, Mr. Ernie and their sweet pup Sammie are the greatest individuals. I cannot wait to go back!
Stunning location. Cabin extremely well presented, clean with lots of added extras. Private outside seating area with barbecue is a great place to sit and relax. Hosts Ernie and Toni are wonderful in making sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend the horse back riding it was magical. Horse Creek Ranch has to be the best place we have stayed on our three week holiday to Montana.

We booked as a 3 day stopover but this is definitely a destination to stay at. Beautiful place with the best in hospitality. The surroundings on the property are beyond beautiful. Ernie and Toni were very gracious and welcoming hosts. Loved it, can't wait to go back.
Everything was perfect and details were not overlooked. From the ice tea waiting for us upon arrival to cleanliness of the place. Toni and Ernie are great hosts and would recommend staying with them as you explore Montana.
