"Charming hotel! This hotel was definitely a gem in its hay day. Although it is a little tired, it is still charming and a lovely place to stay. It was quiet and felt very safe tucked away from the street. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The grounds were nice and had a walking trail where we took the dogs for a stroll. Lots of green space and easy parking. The breakfast was a lovely surprise too with good options and great coffee. Had gluten free options too!
The tavern is no longer...
"The room was disgusting. The tub was dirty, sheets barely covering the lumpy and squeaky mattress, the curtains were stained and dusty and the couch / sofa bed was covered in stains. We always stay at Hampton Inns and this was no where near the quality we have come to expect from Hilton. How this place has such a high rating on Expedia is a mystery. It’s in desperate need of an update and was hands down, the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at. If I could give this place zero stars I would."
