Lake is clear, sandy bottom, is also shallow a long ways out, which is perfect when you have small kids. It is a great home base for going anywhere up north. We enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit, and fishing off the long dock. The cabin was homey and had all the amenities we needed, despite being a bit dated.
