"The breakfast included in the stay was excellent and the outside seating was also very nice with a great view. Short walk to many restaurant options. Loved the location."

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms got cleaned every day. Breakfast was a good variety and even Pastel de Nata. The place was very clean. There is a bus stop outside the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

We booked the hotel as it was on the beach and had nearby restaurants. However, the food in the hotel was so good we soon upgraded to half board. Check in was easy and Ana on the front desk was great and helped us with booking tours as her local knowledge and contacts were invaluable. We chose a room with a sea view as it is a great view of the beach. Overall a great experience and no hesitation in going back.

We were here in October so it was still excellent weather. Perfect room with a balcony. Bloody Cockerell was a pain but just shut the bathroom window and door.
We had a breakfast,€14, bit pricey but did the job and was hot, two teabags in the pot would be an idea.....
The room was super clean and maintained every day.
It is at the top of the town but they provide a free shuttle to the beach and town.
We will definitely come back as it certainly suited our needs.

We enjoyed staying in an apartment on the 24th floor with amazing ocean views. Very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals in - home away from home style. Surprisingly, considering the hotel was fully booked with families (July booking) it was very quiet and calm. The housekeeping staff and receptionists were very helpful. The hotel is literally minutes to walk from the beach, and there are several mini supermarkets to buy supplies from at the door of the hotel. We didn't use the pool...

We stayed for 9 nights in this hotel and we could say that it was a very good choice. The hotel has a very good location ,very close to the beech. The hotel is very clean, the room was comfortable and well decorated ,air con,the bathroom was amazing:big, new and very clean! Hot water at any time of the night or day. The staff was friendly and very nice and helpful. Praia Da Rocha is a very good choice for a holiday! Well done Avenida Praia!

This hotel has to be up there with the very best. Absolutely fabulous. Spa centre and gymnasium were also good. Very warm indoor swimming pool if required for later in the year when a little cooler..

we loved our week in vila gale praia it would have been perfect but the weather was pretty bad....rain wind storms etc most days...luckily last two days sun came out & we sat around the pool (cold but I did have a dip)
hotel restaurant great we ate there twice and breakfast fresh and delicious loads of choice and lovely fresh fruit even a bucks fizz if you wanted it!
hotel is very tranquil and has a lovely spa (free) with huge jacuzzi pool sauna & steam room which we made lots of use of when...

After much searching for a hotel that fit the bill along the coastline and around Albufeira, we settled on the Baia Grande. I must say for the week we wanted, it was also the cheapest !
Having looked around the town after we had I checked in, all I can say is that I am glad we stayed here rather than noisy crowded rooms or apartments in close vicinity to pub after pub and the crowds. I can't understand the people who marked the place down because the entertainment was more suited to older...
