"Our stay at Mandarin Oriental Muscat was exceptional from start to finish. We were very kindly upgraded to a beautiful sea view suite. The service throughout was outstanding, with thoughtful touches like early check-in. Truly world-class facilities and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended."

"I was very disappointed that the staff gave us certain assurances when we arrived regarding the price of our stay. Then they went back in that afterwards and charged us substantially above what was discussed in person. "

"We were visiting Muscat for a week and we stayed here becuse it is central. That said, Muscat is spread out so any sightseeing stay in the citywill need taxis. This hotel was almost perfect. The chargeable buffets for breakfast and dinner had an outstanding variety of excellent food. The staff were always friendly and efficient. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was large and not busy. The only down side was the lack of local amenities. We did not find any restaurants withing walking distance but there are a couple of grocery stores. The Lulu supermarket is a mike or so away, but it is easy to get taxis & private tours to stop there on the way back to the hotel. Churches are about a 500 metre walk from the hotel."
