A glass window-wall spans the length of the main living space serving up an awesome view of Half Moon Bay and the Caribbean. The kitchen has a four burner stove/oven, microwave, 2 coffee maker options (using paper filters or NESCAFE DOLCE GUSTO capsules), blender, toaster AND sufficient utensils and cookware for everyone! A curved breakfast peninsula seats four (4) making informal breakfasts a snap. In the living room a built-in L shaped couch faces the sea view and beach and it can become two individual extra beds. Closer to the windows is an oval wood dining table with seating for 6. A glass slider opens to the ocean terrace, a great place to be anytime of day. Other things to note Playa Blanca # 1 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Master Bedroom is certainly the highlight, with a king size bed, louvered windows that fold back to reveal the ocean view, ample storage, and a private master bath with a deluxe tub/shower and more louvered windows that fold back for the ocean view. The 2nd bedroom has two Queen size beds, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower. There is a window facing the garden side to let light into the bedroom. The snorkelling just off the beach is great. Seeing the sunrise from the bed was a great experience. Unfortunately, everything felt a bit old and not really clean. We had to wash all dishes before we could use them. The bed sheets did not feel as fresh as in other places. The owners are very nice and were very flexible when we mixed up the check out time and did not vacate early enough. Thanks for a great stay! ##### Heike C. The location was absolutely perfect being directly on the water on half moon bay. You could walk right from your bed into the ocean which was nice since you have to pay to use the beaches. It was walking distance or a golf cart ride away from delicious restaurants and grocery store. The snorkeling right off the private beach was really good and we loved having use of the beach lounge chairs/umbrella. Our host was wonderful and super helpful booking taxis or answering any questions and solving problems. The space itself was beautiful and spacious however it really really needed a few updates. Only a couple of cons: The beds were very uncomfortable and the toilets were barely functioning even without toilet paper. It smelled a little mustly/mildewy but that might have been because we were on the first floor and so close to the water.
