Super Nice Resort

Nice Hotel that Could've been Better

Pros: The view of Boracay
Cons: add a menu at every room, get more vans with AC, upgrade the pool, add some special touches like slippers or bathrobe at the rooms.
Location: There is Puka Beach, DMall... Boracay is fairly small.
Great location for families. There is a great view of Boracay from the pool. The room is spacious and clean but could have been better. Maybe add some indoor slippers or some special touches to it. There is no menu at the room so if you want room service, you have to call them to send you a menu. A lot of time wasted. They have a van service to the DMALL and to the beach. However, do not expect the van to come at the right time. Sometimes, it is early, sometimes it is late especially from the beach. The van also does not have AC. A LOT of the visitors that are staying there are rude and selfish so keep that in mind when you are staying there. You are greatly outnumbered. The breakfast was ehh

Yes wifi but terrible so think twice

During our transport going to the hotel from d mall, the driver stopped in the middle of the road to send money. Some foreigners are complaining and asking what is he doing.

Very disappointing!

First day and night, my fiancé and I decided to go to the pool, we put our belongings on our chairs near the pool Attendants to go for a swim, after only about 5 minutes in the pool other guests had moved our stuff off of our chairs as the staff watched. Do to that we left the pool to go back to our room. Night came and we wanted to watch TV and relax, the remote did not work so we called to fix the problem, only for them to come and flip the batteries in the remote (no brainer) as i already done so. Worked for 2 more seconds then called back, then they took one battery out of AC remote to put in tv remote, it worked but not for long, so we just left it alone to not be bothered an used buttons on side of tv. Soon after my partner went to use the bathroom where she shouted because she saw a pretty big spider in the toilet (frightening). Day two, we left for awhile and then came back and decided to use the pool and Jacuzzi and to our surprise there was kids jumping, splashing in the jacuzzi, and worst we witnessed guests blowing their noses in the water! Gross!! note: there was a kids side of pool, which none were in. So how can we relax in the jacuzzi with kids splashing water in our faces. Day 3 Same thing happened. Went to ask for a manager and was told there was no manager on duty to inform of the issue and will resolve it the next day. Next day, nothing was resolved! Stayed here for 4 days and our overall experience was very disappointing.

Wrong Room Type Given

I booked a 2-night stay in a Loft room via Hotels.com. When they brought us to our room (Keira 105), I immediately noticed that the room was different from what I booked, so I asked the bellman of Keira 105's room type. He said De Luxe. I called the Front Desk and the staff wasn’t even apologetic. She just said that the Loft room may not be available when we arrived thus they gave me a De Luxe room. I retorted that they could have at least told me; we would have been happy to wait (By the way, we checked in at 2 PM, their standard check-in time.) The staff wasn’t helpful and even refused to connect my call to the supervisor or manager as they were supposedly in a meeting. I kept insisting to talk to either and only then did the staff agreed to move me to a Loft room (HA 301).

Good Stay

Hotel was very nice and the room was great for my family of 5. We spent most our days away from the hotel at one of the beaches and the Hotel staff was great at helping us get where we wanted to go. The free shuttle service was great for us. The hotel was further away from DMall and white beach but the ride was not bad. Sometimes at night, there was a long line to catch the free shuttle back to the hotel but they were pretty good at sending additional shuttles to pick people up. I was not that impressed with the food for breakfast and that would be my only complaint.

Great place shame about the guests.

The hotel is in a beautiful location in the mountains, room excellent, so are the grounds and pool. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. On the downside it was a 20-25 minutes drive from the hotel to the centre, mainly because of 3 sets of roadworks with stop go boards, volume of traffic & local flooding. The hotel shuttle ran once every hour to the centre & also to Puka beach, where free sun lounges & towels were provided. The hotel and resort is swarming with Chinese & Korean tourists, who in general were rude, selfish & noisy. We went for the complimentary breakfast at 8.15 the first day & couldn't get a seat in the main restaurant & had to locate downstairs. Most of the food was gone, the Chinese seemed like vultures to me, their plates piled high with food. I managed to get cold scrambled eggs but couldn't eat it, so went to a restaurant to buy breakfast. The next day we went for breakfast at 7.15, same story, I complained to the staff and they brought me fresh food, I'm not complaining about the hotel but the other guests, such a shame they spoiled our stay. I wasn't on my own with my opinion, other European guests felt the same way, even the staff recognised the problem, but what can they do? I won't be going back there, that's for sure!
