Located in the town of Aguadilla, Puerta Del Mar sits 300 feet above sea level. 2 bedrooms & 2 baths fully equipped & air conditioned throughout. Bask in the sun by the infinity pool, jump in the spa tub or another pool, spa & playground equipment is available for your enjoyment as well as a children's playground area. Be greeted by the natural sounds around as the ocean breeze, the birds, and our precious 'coquis' that will serenade you at night. Puerta del Mar, in Aguadila sits atop a mountain approximately 300 feet above sea level overseeing famous Crash Boat Beach, offering some of the most breathtaking sunsets. This is a gated community with control access and uniformed security. Puerta del Mar grants views of the island of Desecheo, Aguadilla Bay, Crash Boat Beach below to name a couple of the attractions. Beach Bum Paraiso elegantly decorated with contemporary and beachy decor, and many one of a kind irreplaceable pieces of art. Enjoy nature and partial ocean view from the balcony and its comfortable sitting & lounging areas. When you come in into this quiet marvel, you will be welcome in the foyer by a commissioned painting of Crash Boat Beach by artist Luis F. Rodriguez and a barracuda pointing towards the direction of your awaited ocean view. The large living area is decorated in neutral colors of gray and taupe. The family room has a 48” LED-TV, a sofabed in queen size. The dining room comfortably sits 4 people at the table while two more can join in from the breakfast stools at the kitchen/breakfast counter. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, cookware to help your culinary skills shine or simply allow you to heat up your food. Several pewter, glass, crystal serve ware are stored for your enjoyment. It provides you with a coffee maker, toaster, blender, sandwich maker, can opener, & all dishes and silverware. The spacious master bedroom with en-suite offers a king size bed, ample storage in chest of drawers, and a dresser with a 40” LED-Smart-TV. It has a walk in closet with a hamper and clothes' hangers. It is tastefully decorated in blue and/or gray tones, white linens and towels & beachy wall decor of sea shells, and semi-nudes portraits. Several blankets just in case a cool night sneaks in. The second bedroom offers a queen size bed, mirrored door closet, and a chest drawer for additional storage. Beach Bum Paraiso offers ceiling fans throughout, air conditioning in all sleeping areas, dining kitchen area as well. The fully equipped kitchen has a ceiling fan for additional comfort. Puerta del Mar is a few miles drive from Crash Boat Beach, Surfers Beach, Wilderness Beach, Borinquen Beach, Survivor Beach, while other are only 10-30 minutes drive. Airport is a ten minute drive to the Rafael Hernandez Airport (BQN) in Aguadilla. ATTRACTIONS IN AGUADILLA The Parterre is a small park that encloses a natural water spring known as 'El Ojo de Agua', which flows into a stream called 'El Rio Chico'. An underground river that originates in the northern coast of the island, traveling twenty miles and emerges in the center of the city of Aguadilla. The ruins of the Ramey Base are characterized by a beautiful sea view to the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. This was the first lighthouse in Aguadilla and although many placed its construction in 1886, the history data that the project was approved in 1887 and opened on September 15, 1889. We have two adult children and the extra room worked perfectly for us. The condo had everything we needed and more. We were near the beach and in a wonderful neighborhood. The beaches in the area are very nice, and the golfing near the airport was the only affordable golfing we found in PR.The infinity pool was not operational while we were there (Feb 24-Mar 4, 2025), if it was usable the place would have been perfect.Being able to use the gate zapper while we were there was huge, we stayed in other places that we had to struggle with the gate keeper each time we drove in. Nice quiet location. Equipped with kitchen and laundry, which made it home away from home. The condo had everything we needed for our stay including beach chairs and umbrellas which was huge given we visited multiple beaches During our stay. The pool on property is unbelievable with a gorgeous sunset each day. The condo is close to Crash Boat Beach with amazing sand and snorkeling. Quick drive to downtown Aguadillia with great food and a nice walkway along the inlet. We explored Gozlandia Falls and Playa Combate which were not far drives. Lydia was super helpful, responsive, and made sure our stay was top notch. Lydia responded quickly to our needs during the stay, which were very minimal, and even brought us a few beach chairs to replace some older ones during our stay. Infinity pool with an amazing view just put the icing on the cake. It's a 5 minute drive to Crash Boat Beach and 28 minutes to Gozalandia falls (a must do excursion when you stay here). Lydia and Ulisis were excellent hosts. The condo is beautifully decorated and accommodating to meet all your vacation needs. The complex is clean and gated to insure your safety. Sunsets at the infinity pool are spectacular! Lydia responds quickly to any questions you may have! Restaurants and beaches in the area are wonderful! You cannot go wrong staying in this property. Everything was spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated for our family. The complex is beautiful but the star is the unit itself. The owners were very nice and friendly and helpful with getting around the area. Please make sure to rent a car to get around as well . They provide almost everything in there home and also things to use at the pool and beach and on a rainy day there are some card games, board games, dominoes and tv ..But the best part of our trip was the infinity pool and the view it was sooo lovely ❤️.. i will recommend and come back again with my family soon. ##### Betty O. Everything in the condo was in perfect condition. The views from the balcony alone where breath taking. Communication was super easy and all of the pamphlets and menus made day planning so simple. Since we went on spring break which was the busiest time of the year staying at the condo and just enjoying the amenties was great. I highly recommend staying here. Lydia is an excellent host, great communication! My husband and I spent a week in her condo, it was in a convenient location. From the infinity pool you overlook Crash Boat Beach, literally 5 minute drive time, that was nice to get a parking spot and shade tree early. The bed was so comfortable!! After staying at two other rentals on Culebra and the east side with cheap hard beds, this bed was like heaven!! Lots of extra pillows and everything we needed and more to enjoy the end of our vacation! The balcony was so nice and the beach chairs were great to take with to all of the beaches!
