I booked MONday Apart Premium Ueno Okachimachi because I wanted a more roomy apartment for my family of 3 and these apartments were perfect.
MONday Apart Premium Ueno Okachimachi is located a few minutes walk from Okachimachi station on the Yamanote Line and 6 or mins or more from Suehirocho station on the Ginza line. Akihabara is 8 mins walk.
The area is very safe and we had no issue walking around at night and during the day. There is a Lawsons a minute or so nearby and also a Family Mart near the Okachimachi station, which is so handy for snacks, food and groceries. Ueno is also not far away. There are a few restaurants nearby, including Egg Baby Cafe which was really good.
The rooms got cleaned 3 days out of our 10 days stay which worked well for us, they also had the option of leaving dirty towels and garbage bags outside your door to be collected on non cleaning days.
Access to the rooms and lift area is accessible via a numerical code. The room had a sensor light which automatically turned on when you got up to the bathroom at night, this was probably the only annoying part of our stay. I suggest wearing an eye mask to avoid being woken up by the lights at night.
The staff spoke English and were very hospitable, friendly and kind.
The room does have some noise from the trains nearby, but it is not too loud that it is distracting.
Other than the train noise, I cannot hear my neighbours.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again.

Very clean rooms and great amenities. We stayed in a family room with our infant son and it was perfect. Short walk from Ueno station and close to Asakusa and Ueno park. Delicious breakfast restaurant right next store.

8.2/10 Very good! (4,324 reviews)
"Very old hotel, it needs a big time renovation, carpets in the hall are ugly and not practical, suitcases don’t roll smoothly, bathroom is the worst part, smells and not good for tall people. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything when trying to sleep. I requested an iron and it wasn’t available ..."

"Great hotel, just be mindful that front staff does not speak English fluently so we struggled a bit communicating. Otherwise it’s fine"
