Looks great in photos but even better in real life. It was so nice to stay in a freshly restored cottage but definitely not a cookie cutter decor. I also loved the town. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but we’d love to come back. A cosy autumn retreat. We lit the fire, had a bath (the heated floors by the way, divine!) and enjoyed the lovely complimentary bottle of wine! We could have just stayed in the cottage and relaxed but it’s worth noting that the pub is a very short stroll away for dinner and that the Karkoo nursery down the road also has a great cafe.
