We spent another 10 minutes finding another way to get in etc so this could have been avoided with better signage. It would have been nice to have complimentary bottles of water in the fridge and a small carton of milk as well considering this was not what I would call cheap accommodation. Other than that the apartment was nice and modern and had a huge balcony, although balcony furniture such as chairs and a table would have been appreciated so we could sit outside. I.e. full time residents vs hotel management. Sets a funny unwelcoming vibe straight away. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but for the price, reasonable. Our splashback looks like it hasnt been cleaned in quite some time, and some furniture in the room looked quite tired. Water pressure is great, good bathrooms, no complaints there. Gym also very good, however, the pool and spa were empty for some reason. With no mention of that prior to checking in. Overall, it was a fine place to stay, definitely felt uncomfortable with the residents wanting the hotel stopped. A microwave was available no vessel to use other than plates. I’d read a review complaining about the size and the photos really did make it seem small, so that’s what I expected. When we opened the door we were delighted with what we saw. It was the perfect size for two people. The apartment was modern and clean. It had everything we needed and had loads of storage space, especially in the bathroom. The furnishings were in excellent condition and all the appliances worked well. The location was great. It’s right in the middle of the city. Rundle Mall and the art gallery were just minutes away. The street in which it’s situated is more of a laneway. Even though it’s right in the city, it’s quiet but felt safe.
