"The villa itself is absolutely exceptional. It is beautifully maintained, exactly as pictured, clean, well-stocked, and sits on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach we've ever experienced. The owners were responsive, courteous, and clearly care about their home, and it truly shows. We would not hesitate to recommend the property itself.Unfortunately, our experience with their property management team and the coordination of guest services was very different. Throughout our stay, transportation and several pre-arranged services required repeated follow-up, experienced significant delays, or lacked proactive communication. While unexpected issues can happen anywhere—especially on an island—timely updates and realistic expectations would have made a tremendous difference. Instead, the repeated uncertainty made it difficult to plan our days and had a meaningful impact on our vacation.Overall, we loved the villa and Exuma, and we genuinely believe this home deserves its outstanding reputation. With stronger communication and more consistent coordination from the property management team, this would easily have been a perfect stay."

"Breath taking home & wonderful host! Jack and his team made this trip so easy and fun. Before we even landed on the island Jack provided numerous suggestions for shopping, eating & entertainment! The house itself was so comfortable and the space is amazing literally 10 steps from the ocean with a private bea! My family kayaked to Moriah National Park twice! First time we ended up in a secluded bay surrounded by mangroves with green sea turtles swimming around! Once you get to the lazy river which leads to the national park make sure you walk to the ocean side and you'll be greated with a view that'll leave you speechless (it's worth the effort!) The house is a short drive from Tropic of Cancer Beach which is another must see spot. It's hard to put the beauty of that place into words. One evening we had a private chef cook for us based on Jack's recommendation and the meal was exceptional! I can't stress enough how Jack's team made this trip easy to navigate, he even explained how the check in process and flight home would go. We ended up at the restraunt across the street from the airport and had a great meal before the flight! If you want a great Bahamas experience you have to stay at the Bahama Island House! If your're nervous about traveling to a slightly remote island, dont be. Jack is the type of host that will make sure you are taken care of throughout the trip and wants his guests to have a truly wonderful experience!"

"This was the best trip! Be sure to take advantage of Judy, the concierge—she was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy. While it is a remote destination, that’s part of what makes it so special.We also did the 8-hour tour with Exuma Water Sports and visited some of the coolest spots in the Exumas. It was an unforgettable experience and absolutely worth it.I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a unique and amazing getaway!"

"The house is as you see it on the listing. It is impeccably clean, fully stocked and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the overall layout of the house makes it easy to have a wonderful time. The beach has got to be one of the prettiest we have ever seen. Important to keep doors closed as bahamas in general has flies and some bees trying to come inside. Overall, too 3 most comfortable rental we have ever booked."

"Amazing! We were a group of 10 life-long girlfriends getting together for a "Girls Trip" and to celebrate a 60th birthday. The house is spread out in different buildings with great walkways like your own mini resort. Plenty of spaces for everyone to be together or enjoy personal quiet time. I cannot say enough about Kim, the house manager and personal chef. We hired her for 5 of the 8 nights for dinner. Every meal was delicious and her personal service and attention to all of our guests was fantastic. She also did our pre-arrival grocery shopping and made sure all was ready for us at arrival. Kim is a fabulously kind human and does an amazing job! Upon request, she even arranged a pastor for us for a special baptism in the turquoise sea. As a upscale boutique hotel developer and owner, and most of my girlfriends on this trip are also in the hospitality industry, we're picky. We have high expectations. This rental property and Kim were fabulous! Of note - you are a good distance away from resources, it's the quiet end of the island. There really isn't a beach directly at the property but the 2 cliff side cabanas and stairs to the sea are great! You can swim or walk in the water easily to sandy beach areas and Tropic of Cancer beach. Be prepared to walk a lot on this property and there are a lot of stairs throughout. Pool is great!Finally, once you arrive, you won't want to leave! It is next level relaxing. It was absolutely perfect for us. Enjoy!"
