Before our arrival, the communication with Silkhaus was very good. Anytime we had a question, needed information, we would email and would get a response back within hours. Well before our arrival we received complete instructions as to how to access the parking, gaining entry into the building and the apartment itself. The unit was as nice as it was pictured, and actually better equipped with amenities than we anticipated. Washer, dryer, full kitchen, cooking utensils, dishes, and on and on. The unit was very clean, well-organized and it was well thought out about the parties that were going to utilize it. I will be doing all my future stays in Abu Dhabi through Silkhaus.

I didn’t receive email with apartment # & access code, which created issue since there is no reception. The security people were very helpful & guided me & they managed to connect me to Silkhaus manager. After that there was an issue with opening the door lock which took 30 mins to figure out.

Great location, wonderful spacious apartment with all required amenities. Great view, easy to park, good wifi But the best part - Silkhaus team, friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Good stay

The unit is large, with plenty of space. Note that this is effectively a managed apartment, and not a hotel, so some basic features are lacking, even though they are listed on the unit information: 1. There is no luggage storage. The property management team will simply tell you to use a luggage storage service 2. There's an in-unit washing machine, but no dryer, and no laundry room for the building. They have a drying rack you can use, though, and they had some Tide pods available. Unfortunately, the unit had some issues with wear and tear; the bidet was leaking when we came and the floor was wet in one of the washrooms. We managed to resolve this on our own. The shower in the en suite bathroom wasn't sealed properly on the floor, so water would leak into the main bathroom area. Aside from those issues, they provided welcome snacks and drinks which was a great touch, had plenty of space, and while we preferred to use our own detergent, they had laundry detergent available. The area that this building is in is relatively new, so lots of empty lots near by that I suspect will be built up soon. Unfortunately, it means that getting around by foot involves you walking on unpaved surfaces. Not the end of the world, as driving is still the main means of transportation in the UAE and few people seem to really walk anywhere. We didn't use any of the provided facilities such as the gym or pool, so I'm unable to comment in that regard. Ultimately a good stay with few complaints
