"Excellent service from all of the staff. Great light lunch in the Bar, and breakfast the following morning (very nice porridge). This is possibly not the ideal location for a visit to Glasgow City Centre, but there are very cheap rail links into Glasgow Central and local private hire taxis that are also very reasonable. Our usual hotel of choice in the city had not surprisingly more that doubled in price due to a concert at Hampden Park (£340)..we booked the Golden Jubilee for £109 including breakfast and a return taxi for £40! Absolute no brainer!!"
