"The cottage is cosy and warm and has all the necessary facilities to have an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well appointed, the shower has good pressure, the beds are comfortable and the Netflix (and lots of other channels) worked well. The wifi reception isn’t super strong however it worked fine. There are lovely walks from the property and Neath is close by. There is comprehensive info on local shops, history and restaurants etc. Would definitely recommend."

"Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. "Lovely clean room with very tasteful decor. Really comfy mattress and nice to hear the sound of running water from the stream nearby. Great food in the restaurant downstairs. Only downside was that breakfast not provided and we had to walk into the local village"

"Lovely Hotel.Reception staff were very helpful. I had a superior double room well worth the extra cost. Had a lovely ploughmans and sticky toffee pudding for lunch in bar area,really enjoyable.Nice patio outside for evening drinks!!!Breakfast was excellent set in a beautiful dining room,service was excellent especially from sue who went out her way to make it enjoyable!This was my first visit to the Castle Hotel of Brecon and it won't be my last!!"

"The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. From check in to check out we couldn't fault a thing. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful, a huge shout out to the chefs! Rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is in an excellent position. Parking is an issue but there are council carparks nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay again."
