"This is an excellent hotel! The rooms were beautiful and meticulously clean. The check in process was so cordial and relaxing. The location is great. The best part of Hotel Monge is the staff, so helpful and friendly. When my wife left her scarf at a nearby restaurant, the front desk called the restaurant and sent us an email after they confirmed it was there so we could pick it up. I would not hesitate to stay here again, it made our trip to Paris even better!"

The room/bedding/bathroom was clean and there was a great view of the pantheon from the balcony, but there was a bit of dust underneath the bed that got on my packing cubes after storing them there. There is an elevator but no mini fridge. Location is great and an easy walk to the nearest metro stations. I would stay here again I had a great experience here. "

"Centrally located hotel in the Quartier Latin close to the Pantheon, Notre-Dame, Palais de Luxembourg, the Grande Mosquée, and many other sites. My single room was relatively small, but ok, had a narrow window balcony, and a modern bathroom. The corner shower was hard to get into though, since it opened on the corner. Getting into the shower definitely required a stomach squeeze! The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful with a mix of cold and warm items, satisfying local and international...

"The property is fine, not quite what it looks in the pictures. It’s a worn out building, simple and a bit dark. The people are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is adequate. The area is fine during the day, with several restaurants and cafes, and close to the Metro. You can go everywhere using the Metro but the place is also within walking distance of many gorgeous sights. The Jardin des plants, right across the hotel is beautiful! The area becomes a bit lonely and somehow sketchy at...

There are a million shopping and dining options close by, most of which are independently owned giving the neighborhood an authentic feel. And as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe.
