"Lovely property and really enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful, bar was lovely, room was spacious and homely."

"A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again."

"Simply amazing pub , accommodation food atmosphere"

"Great stay, lovely room modern bathroom. Had free entry to the castle. Lovely breakfast with the stay. Extra for the restaurant but great food and in a beautiful setting. Perfectweekend. "

"The property is lovely and separate from the mail house which is nice. The hosts are great and helped us out when we had to stay longer. As described and a great and relaxing boot hole. Particularly nice was milk in the fridge when we arrived for the available tea and coffee. A really nice touch!"
