"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"I cannot recommend visiting Plas Tan-Yr-Allt enough. Its picturesque setting, welcoming hosts and delightful, historic interior all contributed to a memorable Birthday night for my fiancee. We stayed in Shelley's room, which is exceptional. The huge four poster's impressive and remarkably comfortable. We took afternoon tea, a real treat. And their Welsh breakfast in the morning - in a room with and incredible vista - was a perfect start to our day. Thankyou to Mark and Howard. We will...
