"Property was clean. Bed large and comfortable. Would have liked a bath rather than just a shower. My wife has a rheumatic knee so found the long walk to the main hall a little too far. Breakfast not cheap at £15 per head extra. Overall experience was good"

"Beautiful house set in the country side about 20 miles from York. Very clean and comfortable and you were made to feel welcolme. Lots of information about what to see in the local area. We enjoyed our stay very much."

I was staying with my daughter and we only had a classic twin but it was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Underfloor heating in the spacious bathroom was also a plus. Beds were large & comfortable, everything was very clean and we made use of the robes, complimentary water & tea & snacks. "
