"This is an older property that has been renovated. From the outside, at a glance, you could miss this truly charming gem. I’ve visited the area for over 20 yrs and I never knew this was here. The room was spotless. Had all amenities that we needed (coffee maker & fridge). Bed was super comfy. Decor was retro funky and such a pleasant surprise. We even had a lava lamp! Wonderful stay

"The house was very clean, exactly as advertised, and plenty spacious for our family of 3. There is a wonderful carport to keep your beach items and car under. Outdoor shower and hoses were a big plus. Small Ocean view from the front porch and you can hear it as well. Short walk to the beach and the access does not have steps. Plenty of kitchen items to use for cooking. Just bring your own foil, spray, spices, etc. Only downside was the living room being too warm to actually sit in at night. We pulled all the blinds closed but it was still very warm. Host was very good to work with. Overall, I would recommend this home. "

"My husband, mother, two kids and I enjoyed this house! The pool was great and the house was in a great location. My son loved riding in the golf cart with his dad and it was a nice ride to the beach. Great place in OKI!!"

Jay`s Nest at Oak Island, Ocean front home with great views!

2nd time staying

"This was our 2nd time staying at this beautiful beach house. We love the location, the views, and the ease of getting on the beach from the house. The property managers were extremely sweet and kind, we would definitely stay here again. We were a party of 8 staying (4 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 small kids) the house had plenty of room. In the mornings sitting outside under the covered porch while watching the dolphins, just magical. "

"The property overall was good but it needs some paint on the hall walls. Very scratched and dirty. There was still a lot of sand on the floor when we walked in but it is the beach. You have to make your own beds when you get there and I’ve never had to do that before. I think for that much money that should be included. Maybe something they will consider doing later ???The hood vent for the stove was hanging down so that was bad looking. A little talc would go a long way. Overall beautiful property! Not sure if I would stay again."

Family Friendly!

"Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The house was as the pictures described. Linens were provided and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We did experience some of the stuff in the other reviews but nothing that was to write home about. My kids got a kick out of the welcome bag with our supplies! It is on a good section of the beach where it's not really crowded. The house is kid friendly!! We hope to be back! "
