"This was my second time to Penrhos and this is rapidly becoming one of my favourite places to stay. The level of finish in the accommodation is exceptional and the attention to detail such as board games, items in the kitchen and basic supplies such as milk and butter are lovely touches. There is loads of space in Lodge 7 and it is my favourite lodge out of the 2 I’ve stayed in so far. Friday night we went for a meal in the cattle shed. "Lovely apartment with enclosed garden. Few minor issues but quickly resolved. Just a little too much of a walk into town for us … a good 20+ minutes walk . Pub next door excellent for parking & food ! "

"Traditional and comfortable. Lovely decor and the riverside location was perfect, although it did rain mostly but did not detract from the experience. Kev and Katheryn were very welcoming and friendly. The full English breakfast was so good and very generous. We had a lovely view of the river whilst partaking, enhancing the experience! "Our second stay here and excellent once again especially as the owners kindly accepted a change of plans due to one of our dogs requiring medical care. The house is clean, warm, tidy and well thought out. Parking is plentiful and easy. Access to the forest is literally across the road directly onto a path that has not changed in the 50 years I’ve been walking it. "Fantasy food, make sure you get dinner and breakfast here. Staff were lovely too. Cabins and hot tubs were great. WiFi not possible in the cabins and no phone signal so you have to switch off!"

"This old coaching inn has been well revamped, service is first class. The food was excellent with good response to individual needs. Although pricey the rooms were up to a high standard. The roll top bath, with no screen, was a triumph of design over functionality. There was nowhere to put the soap! Having a shower without flooding the floor was tricky.
