"Lovely, service-oriented 5 star up high in the mountains. Excellent stay if you want to relax and enjoy nature. Also close to tea estates, so lots to explore. Only downside is it can get quite foggy that high, so the beautiful views can be obscured for large parts of the day."

"It was an excellent hotel located in the outskirts of Munnar. The staff were accommodating and welcoming. The restaurant was excellent. We had many choices for the complementary breakfast. Dinner and lunch options were reasonably priced. Good complementary activities were available. Next time I will definitely go for a longer stay."

Lots of space in the family room (more like a small flat) but furniture is rather sparse and basic. Food was very good and an extensive menu - the kitchen clearly takes pride in what it does. You are high up on a hill — so everything is a tuk-tuk or car ride away. Very quiet and almost nothing happens in the evening. So this is the place if you want peace...

Expedia booking was confirmed but when I called hotel to make a room request they did not recieve any email or confirmation from Expedia. "Beautiful hotel in a jaw-dropping location. Pretty good food (especially if you stick with the Indian selections), although not everything on the menu was actually available. The tradeoff for the absolutely amazing views is that you're way up a really rough road with nothing else around (but I thought it was well worth it, and it was easy to get a rickshaw). Beautiful and well-appointed room. Recommended. :)"
