Well located for overnight stay close to Toulouse Airport. Free parking and very decent restaurant. Good deal for the price.
Room was typical executive room. Very clean, comfortable bed. Restaurant was very good, much better than expected even in France. Hotel evening manager was extremely patient and helpful with a jet lagged American.
The lovely reception staff saved what was a very unfortunate checking in experience. Having had assurance, on booking, that we would have a room with good access for disabled people we were checked into a room up two very twisty ancient staircases - which was totally unacceptable. However after speaking ...
Although an older building, the hotel has been refurbished and offers a good standard of rooms with an excellent restaurant and bar. A courtesy bus runs between the hotel and airport, free of charge.
We enjoyed our stay and found the hotel very stylish, clean, and close to good shopping. We also enjoyed the restaurant.
Hotel is close to Capitole and a few steps from Metro. Monoprix, Galleries Lafayette and shopping all around the corner. A bit far from SNCF but if you take the metro, it’s only one stop. Breakfast is very good, hot food like eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes plus cold cuts and cheese and pastries. ...
We arrived early and our room was not available so the staff stored our luggage, gave us an umbrella to use and recommend a place for lunch. We came back to a wonderful room and were able to relax and sleep very well to continue on our journey the next day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The city of Toulouse is the hub of Europe’s aerospace industry. Employing over 124,000 people in the fields of aviation, space flight, and associated fields, ‘Aerospace Valley’ comprises more than 500 companies, as well as 8,500 researchers and scientists. No surprise then, that Toulouse provides an extensive range of accommodation to cater to this market, including a large selection of four-star hotels both in and around the city centre and in the immediate vicinity of Toulouse-Blagnac Airport.
Of course, not every four-star hotel in Toulouse is a business hotel – Expedia’s selection also includes a choice of both modern and historic city centre places to stay ideally placed for a leisurely stay. But the majority do primarily serve the business travel market, offering amenities such as meeting, conferencing and event space, airport shuttles, fitness centres and, in some instances, free car parking.
With so many business travellers staying in Toulouse, many four-star hotels are at their busiest during the working week. Leisure travellers can take advantage of this by booking a stay over the weekend when Toulouse is quieter, and make the most of everything the Pink City has to offer.
Keen foodies should pay a visit to one of the many local-produce markets to stock up on cheese, charcuterie or fancy confectionary made from dark chocolate, meringue and marzipan. Another local speciality is violet, which is often incorporated into various foodstuffs including honey, vinegar, biscuits and certain condiments. And if that’s not enough, head to one of the many Toulouse restaurants which specialise in the city’s best known dish: cassoulet. This slow-cooked casserole is an essential part of the region’s cuisine and an opportunity to try it on home turf shouldn’t be missed.
Other must-do Toulouse experiences include everything from people-watching in the Place du Capitole and getting lost in the meandering streets of the old town, to floating down the Canal du Midi on a barge or simply strolling alongside the Garonne River. Whether you’re here for business, pleasure or both, you’re sure to find a four-star hotel that’s right for your style of trip.
