"This was far the most exciting and the most anxiously anticipated stay by our family ever. We were worried that we dared (way to adventurously) to stay at the private accommodations in the middle of bushes/savannah in S. Africa (near Kruger Park). This was something very exotic and a bit scary to book on line without ever seeing it, but we really did hit the jack pot. "We hired 2 chalets' no's 528 & 529. 528 was in good shape but 589 was not. The master bedroom carpets were dirty and the chalet needed painting. We paid for half board but found the food generally very poor. Breakfast was OK with eggs cooked while you waited, the sausages and bacon were good but there was little fresh fruit. "The set up is great, the environment amazing. Staff at restaurant were superb. No ammenities though, at least coffee...just a bottle of local water."

"The accommodations were very nice. Unfortunately there were daily electricity outages. The resort made no effort for guests to be cared for during outages, which happened three times a day for a minimum of 2 hours at a time. Everything is electric. Foreigners are not accustomed to these problems and are stranded in the dark with no resources. The resort needs to find a way to care for their guests during outages."
