Have stayed here several times and will continue to do so when coming to Kruger. It's a great property , really comfortable rooms with everything you need, and you cannot beat the location!

Staff and amenities excellent !! Can’t beat the experience of being in the middle of national reserve. Easy access to safaris. Three restaurants on property- great range of food. People super nice and kind. Had a great time. Would love to go there again. Will suggest buying all safari packages from the rest camp reception 5 min walk away from the lodge rather than the hotel reception who sells same at significant markup (more than twice the price) otherwise very reasonably priced especially for the experience and convenience.

IF you want to see animals this is your place. The ride from the Safari Lodge along the Sabi river takes about an hour in each direction and you'll see more animals then you've ever seen in your life! Truly. Majestic. Awesome trip. You don't need more than a couple or few days unless you want a safari experience and stay in expensive tents etc. This place is perfect for the casual traveler who wants to see animals animals and more animals. Heavenly! And the lodge is perfect like a vacation place not a safari place.

The house phones did not work had to walk to reception to complain multiple times. Terrible value for money Buffer was not open Hole in curtain Housekeeping took our towels and never came back with clean ones til i complained at 4 pm Raging party going on loud shouting

I feel it was overpriced for what we got. Our room was booked for occupancy of 4, yet the set-up of cups, plates, etc. in the room, was for 2, as was the dressing gowns and the chairs on the patio. The service in the dining area was appalling - it took 20 mins to get a waiter to notice us and then equally long to get our drinks that were way overpriced and small in comparison to the same drink at other establishments. Getting luggage to our room was a mission with no assistance. The door handle was not sealed, and batteries were exposed on the handle outside the door. Signage around the property with directions is poor. Lighting in the room is not practical - especially having the bathroom and passage light in the bedroom connected - makes nighttime bathroom visits a problem for all. There's also no towel holder in the guest toilet. I would not be coming back any time soon, especially based on the price we paid and the disappointment we experienced.
