"Perfect setting in the Tasmania wilderness. There are hiking tracks within walking distance from the lodge. The bus to dove lake is also right outside the lodge. This was the perfect base to explore cradle mountain."

"After our flight got canceled, last weekend and everything else was booked out including the BEST WESTERN PLUS the two front of house guys went out of there way to find us a room , lucky for us there was a late cancellation and they gave the room to us, They definitely got out us of pickle "

"The property photo is misleading and what you see in the photo is a facade hiding an uninteresting 3 storey motel-like brick building. The room is basic however it is immaculately clean with a good shower and comfortable bed. Great view from the windows of the room I stayed in. I was on the top floor and stairs are the only means of access. No lift. Overall, I would stay here again."

"Excellent room right on the beachfront. Reception staff was friendly and helpful with local recommendations. We had an oceanview room and it was brilliant. Location is very convenient and walkable to all food options and to the beach. Great option for a short or long stay."

"Great location and onsite parking. Unfortunately what we booked and paid for (executive family room) differed from what we got. Asked reception staff and showed the photos on wotif but we were told they “don’t advertise that particular room”?!! Bath had a large rusting dent/hole in the bottom where you stand for shower. Disappointing for the price we paid. "

"I had a nice view from my window over a park and some parts of town. It was within walking distance of the main part of town and other tourist areas. I went for breakfast around 8.30 and found that there were not a lot of choices for the continental breakfast. I also had to ask for a bowl and spoon, few cups left and food not replenished."

From the warm, friendly, and helpful reception we received on arrival, to the beautifully furnished suite and superbly comfortable king bed, everything was brilliant. We cannot wait to return for a longer stay. Highly recommended to all staying in Launceston!"

"The unit was lovely and comfortable but I was surprised that there wasn't an iron to use and didn't understand why guests have to take their own rubbish with them. Being a tourist I found this bizarre and where were we supposed to dispose of it?"
